I am very pleased to have swap the mineral and alkaline filter with the VOC Carbon filter which is much kinder to my system and taste much nicer

I was so far very happy with the Aquatru Carafe even tough I've had to repurchase filters more often than originally suggested, however I have recently changed all my filters to a brand new set and also purchased the original descaling kit for my Carafe model which is only 8 months old. Unfortunately the water is not filtering correctly; instead of 10-15 minutes it takes less than 5 for the entire batch to pass which means its not filtering/bypassing the filters; its been several days of trying to get in touch with Aquatru EU and nobody is responding.

The water taste is excellent, my only complaint is the dispenser on the water carafe always leaks after pressing in the blue button. You would think for the high price point of this item that this problem would never happen.

De filtratie zelf lijkt goed te werken en ik ben blij dat het gefilterde water in een glazen karaf terechtkomt. Toch zijn er een paar punten die beter kunnen. De handleiding is op sommige plaatsen onduidelijk geformuleerd, vooral rond het lampje “Empty/Refill Tap Tank” en wat je precies moet doen wanneer de gefilterde karaf al vol is. Na contact met de support werd dit wel duidelijk uitgelegd, maar die uitleg zou eigenlijk gewoon helder in de handleiding moeten staan. Ook het gebruiksgemak kan beter: op het waterreservoir ontbreekt een duidelijke aanduiding tot waar je exact mag/moet vullen. Bij een toestel in deze prijsklasse verwacht je gewoon een duidelijke max-lijn of vulmarkering. Daarnaast vind ik het jammer dat er nog vrij veel plastic onderdelen in contact komen met het water, zeker bij een product dat zich richt op zuiverder drinkwater. Ook blijft de smaak van de filters/plastic vrij lang hangen; zelfs na meerdere spoelbeurten was die bij ons nog merkbaar. Kort gezegd: sterk filtersysteem, goede support, maar de documentatie, vulmarkering, materiaalkeuze en initiële smaakervaring kunnen beter.

Soweit alles gut.

Had this for 3 months now and it’s a fantastic item. Easy to use and maintain with weekly washing, haven’t descaled yet but will be following the instruction soon to do that. Saving me a fortune not having to buy bottled water, well worth the purchase

I love the under sink water filter. It doesn't use much space and the water it's very clean and tasty as well. Clean water = Clean body. And another plus the skipping was very fast 1-2 days and the new filters where delivered.

Water taste is perfect. AquaTru Classic is the best!
