I had a slight issue with the product that was shipped - really no one's fault, but just bad luck it seems. The customer support personnel was really helpful, understanding and apologetic, even though it didn't seem to be either party's fault. The issue was resolved quickly and in a friendly yet still professional manner, so I'm happy with the outcome and support provided.

It's so hard to find gifts for my mom. This year I was looking for something to remind her of "home" and found Nihon Ichiban. This site has high quality snacks, teas, and lots of unique items (like a clock made of tatami). I plan to bookmark this site and shop often!

I purchased 2 Inden-ya products on Dec. 12th and paid the extra for 3 day Air Express. I have not heard form your company and haven't been able to track my order. It is still not here. Dec 18th.

Your rep was very prompt and courteous. However your website was not so easy to navigate. I tried to open an account before I ordered, and thought that I did, but didn't. After placing my order, I tried to check out, but there was no clear indication of where to go next. I took me several times to check out successfully. Comparing to other website, this was not one of the best. It would be most helpful if there was a clear path leading the customer what to do next. Thank you. Shirley Mangione

I made an order, they sent a confirmation and took the money from my card, and then I received nothing and heard nothing for 5 weeks. After 3 weeks I sent an inquiry but still heard nothing for another two weeks. I thought my money had been stolen! Then they finally told me they were refunding the money because the product was unavailable. These things happen, but I would have appreciated being told what was going on much earlier. Not sure I will order again, even though the site has great products.
