I was using both Bose QC20 and Sennheiser PXC 550. I was looking to find an option that was both low profile and wireless. The UE18+ did both! I did a direct comparison between the PXC 550 and the UE18+. I can tell the bass is more pronounced in the UE18 and I noticed the PXC 550 sounds more distant with less details. I am very happy with my UE18+. I may consider the Fostex TM2 as an option to have a longer battery. The carbon fiber looks great too.

Unfortunately, you don’t exactly get to try these out before taking the plunge. I got the 18+ models, upgrading from a set of custom silicone molds that fit over Bose earbuds. These are an amazing upgrade, worth every bit. I enjoy s variety of music, but electronic and industrial sounds really great through these!

As someone looking for the premium in each headphones for years, I've finally found them. I added to my search a couple years ago with the Revols custom in home fit and was happy with the qualtity of the sound and fit. It seemed something was something still missing as I ofter switched between the Revols and Bose earphones. Now with the marriage of the two I can say I've finally found what I've been looking for in the CSX 18+. I can only imagine with the top of the line Pro system sounds like. By far the most expensive earphones I've ever purchased but hopefully will have for years to come and not have to continue to look for any better. The only issue was trying to get the Fostex wireless to work on the iPhone 11 Pro Max but figured it out. Maybe make the Ultimate ears documentation reference and provide directions for Fostex.

These are amazing headphones. The people who make them are amazing.

Received them earlier in the week, great on Metro and in the gym. Can’t wait to try them on the motorcycle, all the other in ear stuff blows out!!!

My UE are fantastic

Having gone through many in-ear headphones, many of which lacked something in quality, I was glad to find these - the sound is superb both wired and on the Fostex TM2’s (Bluetooth) earloops. I have so far tested them on iPhone 11 Pro, Fiio M11Pro and Sony NW-WM1Z players, both wired and on Bluetooth, and the sound is the best I have heard from all - balanced without loss of any frequencies. And I can now use UE with a non custom balance wire due to use of standard connector - to me balance connection, available both on Sony and Fiio, sound a notch up from

Got these for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves them! The fit kit is super easy to follow and it gets you perfect results. Everything is sent out super quickly so you are not waiting long for the gift, which I was surprised about since they are customs made. My favorite part about this company is the customer service. I had questions about my order and they replied super quickly and were extremely helpful. Best customer service I have ever received. My boyfriends favorite part was the sound. It was on a different level compared to any other headphones he had used. The website gives an accurate description of which headphone is best for each type of music so you will hear exactly what you want. Worth every penny!

Clearly a very worhtwhile investment! Sounds on my side are great! Folks on the other end of my phone calls also appreciate it!

Being a guitarist and I was reluctant to use IE's and have corks in my ears that would complicate how I judge my stage volume. I just started using Ultimate Ears though because of some new songs that we're doing that are critically important for me to hear vocal during the chorus harmonies, and wedges weren't getting it done for me. I've found that I adjust my stage volume at soundcheck, and put in my in-ears after that and I'm fine. I can still hear the other instruments actually just thru mike-bleed, but most importantly I can now hear the vocals at the level that I need. Truth of the matter is that I've been wearing hearing protection for years now anyways to protect my ears from stage volume, and this really isn't any different. Glad I bought 'em!

These are hands down the best earbuds/IEMs I have ever experienced! I will be honest, straight out of the box, they are a little above Bose QuietComfort 20 and with the price difference between the two, I was on the verge of returning them. There wasn't much bass to them and the volume just wasn't there. I decided to give them a few more days before I made any decisions to return them. It was a good thing I did. I also purchased the IPX Bluetooth Cable so I connected them, paired them to my phone and downloaded the UE app. From there, everything got much better! These IEMs have so much untapped potential when you plug them straight into your phone. However, when you run them through an equalizer, such as the UE app, they are off the charts!! Note: you can only run them through the UE equalizer via bluetooth. The app does not recognize anything plugged directly into your phone. I created two custom presets, one for Pandora and one for Youtube, and these IEMs sprang to life! The bass was incredible with more to spare and the mids and highs were incredibly clear! The UE website does not lie when it says you hear parts of songs you have never heard before! I turned the volume up as loud as I could handle it and these IEMs did not clip or distort at all! They are simply amazing! I would go as far to say, if you decide to purchase these, your purchase is not complete without the IPX Bluetooth Cable (the bluetooth cable does not come with any of the Pro Line). Either that or have a good equalizer app/software. As for comfort, they are perfect! They take a little extra effort to put in and take out of your ears but I got the hang of it pretty quickly, after all, the Pro Line goes deeper into the ear canal. With the custom molds, these IEMs form an incredible seal so the passive noise cancellation is on par with electronic noise cancellation...and without the hiss! And lastly the customer service: This company has one of the best customer service departments I have ...

The earphones are quite simply the best pair I've ever owned. They have a bottom range that apple earbuds couldn't even touch. I looked at bose and beats before deciding on these and even they cannot compare.

I’ve never heard anything like them. Once I down loaded the app as well the headphones came alive. Best money I ever spent.

I have had a difficult time finding regular in ear headphones that dont hurt my ears. My new UE monitors fit amazingly. Can barely tell they are there. Wish I had pulled the trigger sooner.
