I contacted Berties. They told me someone would be in touch with me within 48 hours. I’m still waiting for them. I need to return these shoes, and get a half size larger.

I visited the store in SF on a whim. It is light, beautiful and comfortable, with an impressive display of shoe styles. I was disappointed that they didn't have every style in stock, however. The salesperson was friendly and helpful. I bought a pair on the spot and ordered another at home!

Customer service is great. I had a senior moment and accidentally ordered the wrong size. Even though it was a final sale, I was able to get a credit because I had not worn them and they no longer had my correct size. I very much appreciated this generous accommodation. That's what creates customer loyalty!
