It is a solid 4 but actually a 5 for the price. I was a medical technologist for 15 years and a wastewater biochemist for 26 years and used a microscope nearly everyday for those years and retired in 2013. I have grandkids and I wanted to show them things in the world of microscopic organisms etc so I bought a binocular Amscope and I am surprisingly pleased with the quality of this scope. They are captivated by the things they can see under the microscope and very educational . I highly recommend this microscope. Exceptional quality for price.

I recently purchased a Stereo
I recently purchased a Stereo Microscope (SM-47PZZ-30WR-18M3) and a Compound Scope (T720QB-PCT720-INF). Both are exceptional scopes for the price. They have been thoroughly tested and have already provided hours of lab work on insect and mite identification. I could not be more pleased with these scopes. My only suggestion is that written or online instructions would have been helpful for the Phase Contrast Kit for the T720. Thank you for two great scopes.

The order and selection was amazing. The customer services was great too. My microscope came out with some scratches and they offer to replace it. I told them I would leave them them and they left it at that. I will definitely but more AmScope products.

So far I've been able to get all that I need to pursue microscopy as a hobby. Their website is very accessible, ordering is easy and shipping has been very prompt. Any technical questions or general inquires have been answered usually the same day. Overall I would rate my experience with AmScope as - Very Good - need a star for that!
