We appreciate the quick turnaround on the items ordered. However, the surface of the black/white microscope plate is slightly more coarse-grained than desired, as digital images of small particulates taken with the microscope/camera tend to get drowned out in the background of the plate. We would love to see a more polished surface option in the future for these applications. Thank you.

They first sent me an item that was defective and didn’t fit. After a few communications via email, they sent me a new item and it fit perfectly. The technician I worked with was very helpful, and the whole transaction was carried out in a timely manner.

I found it easy to purchase the microscope and I got it in a reasonable amount of time. I think the microscope itself will be adequate for my needs as a hobbyist. The image is very sharp and clear using the objectives up to 40x though I haven't had such a positive experience using the 100x objective. Even using the included immersion oil hasn't been great. Initially I wasn't able to get the PDF version of the manual but customer service sent it to me via email so that is resolved. Although it's not a show-stopper, the stage seems to "clunk" while lowering it. I suspect that it sticks just a little bit at one point it its travel. The illumination control is very smooth, giving great control over the brightness. The connection between the main body of the microscope and the head seems a little bit finicky. Once I got the lock screw tightened up properly it is fine, though.
