WOW ! Blue Sky's nailed it !!
I just replaced the BB Pro's in my '05 LP Standard with the Blue Sky's . Now my fingers are going to hurt all night from playing !! The BB Pro's were just too harsh on the bridge and the neck, too muddy. The Blue Sky's cured those issues and sound fantastic through my Carr Mercury V amp. Killer Southern / Classic rock and Blues tones. Visualguys demos sold me on them !!

Very Strat-ie

Clear and tight
I swapped the AB Strat set into my EJ strat and the voicing became less dark and more Strat-ie. less “cliffs” and more “sultans of swing” , which I really like. Clear and bell-like. Well balanced across pup selections.

Classic Vibe, The Best Humbuckers!
Installed a set of Sheptone Tribute Humbuckers into my 2011Gibson Les Paul Traditional with CTS pots and bumblebee capacitors. The sound is the clearest crisp tone with phenomenal presence. They are the best Humbuckers I've ever tried/ The playability of these pickups are just amazing. They are super responsive and have great tone resolution. They don't get muddy or super sharp anywhere in the tone spectrum. Midrange is focused and not exaggerated. Bass frequencies are present but tight. If you are looking for that 50's classic vibe, these are your ticket! And Plus, there are many Sheptone fans in Korea as well. You guys should know. Cheers!

Blue sky pickups for 61 SG wired with out of phase switch
I ordered the aged Blue sky's with long legs. ages and 4 wire so i could do a out of phase switch push pull switch tone on a re 61 SG. the pickups came and are great. I ordered non-dipped. I am going to look to sheptone in the future for pickups for my other guitars. very good - + they replied to all my emails asap. very cool pups great experience... if your into the aged thing - go for it - the aging is excellent. all round happy with my purchase. as for the tone - it offers a different sound than the 57 gibsons that were original- i am moire confident with this tone - (i also rewired 50 style the black beauty caps) all round great mod!the pricing is competitive as well. Good Luck!

Finally found the perfect set
Okay, so almost 7 years ago I bought an expensive custom guitar. Never really bonded with it, because it just didn't sound right.. I Swapped the pickups regularly and I almost sold the damn thing. It's been a long journey since, but now I finally nailed it with Sheps help. For me the combo of the AB-custom in the bridge and the Blue Sky neck is the perfect combination. The neck has this sweet singing tone, especially with the tone control dialed a bit back. the Bridge is a roaring rock monster. Finally I'm happy with the guitar and it's become my no 1.

Just wow this Miles pickup is amazing
I put the Miles Pickup in my Squier Classic Vibe 50's Precision bass. It Really brought this bass to life. I have owned several Fender 51 Reissues and this pickup beats them all. The sound is much more open and the lows are there in spades. Overall a fantastic upgrade to any bass designed for this pickup.

First purchase Sheptone strings
Bought 3 sets. First set sounded meh, like they'd been on the guitar 3 weeks. Second set sounded MUCH better. Looking forward to next string change to see about consistency.

Best. Pickups. Ever.
These pickups make it nearly impossible to put down my guitar. Loaded them in a Les Paul Goldtop and they sparkle. Perfect for that Fillmore East tone, no matter if you are going for Dickey or Duane. They just soar for slide guitar. Very articulate, consistent from string to string from the nut all the way up the neck. Getting another pair for my SG.

Heartbreakingly Good!
Simply put, these pickups are truly inspiring to play. I had planned on putting them in a different guitar. After purchasing a P90 for my junior and a set of Blue Sky pickups for a classic, most other guitars I own started sounding stale. I have kept my two favorites completely stock because they worked so well for me. After plugging in one of these guitars, I realized how much better the Sheptones sounded. I installed new pots, 50s wiring with PIO caps, etc. On first listen I was floored. I've owned other Page style pickups and in comparison, the best way I can describe them is they are a parody. I spent the first hour playing through my favorite Zep tunes. They totally nail that vibe but they don't stop there. The tones are totally vintage PAF. Great sensitivity, killer dynamics and great tones while being a different beast from the Blue Sky set I already had. Several hours went bye and I just could not put the guitar down. Sheptone pickups are a class of their own and have inspired me to want to play guitar again. Looking forward to installing the third and final set I ordered in a guitar. I'm sure these won't be the last Sheptones I order either.

Tribute 2's another Sheptone home run
Over the past 10 years I have purchased about 10 sheptone pickups. They are in all my humbucker guitars, R9's, SG's, Black Beauty, etc. I have Tributes, Tribute 4, and now the Tribute 2 bridge. I use heavy gauge strings and I have often found alnico II to compress too quickly and get mushy with heavy strings even though alnico II is a great classic rock sound with lighter gauge strings. I am thrilled with the Tribute 2 bridge. It stays clear while compressing at the same time. Great for legato playing with a true PAF sound. I plan to order more Tribute 2's. Thanks as always, Sheptone! Roger L

Odd Appearance Or Supposed To Look That Way?
The tone quality is excellent. They sound terrific. The build quality is sketchy, however. My set were missing a spacer under one bobbin. The faces all looked like they came from the bottom of the bin. The poles were kind of used looking. Wait... maybe this is the way they are supposed to look! In that case, perfection. As I said, the tone is superb. One of my friends who plays in a band had only word for them: "Killer!"

Great relic look
Tastefully done. It’s a gorgeous add on to these pickups.

Perfect mate for single coils. This guy makes great pickups.
I took my much-loved Jeff Beck Strat and modified it to HSS but finding the right humbucker is always hard with single coils. The volume and output balance is never quite right. Anyway, I have used Tributes for years and love those so I wanted to try this one for my Strat. Short story is that it fits perfectly with my Duncan Antiquity Surfers. This humbucker growls and sings and is fat while complimenting the character of my single coils in a balanced way. Switching from neck pickup to bridge isn’t jarring, it’s just more. Fatter, gainier, but not a crazy volume jump. Just perfect. It’s also one of the few humbuckers Ive found that sound great clean and dirty. Cleans have enough sparkle and drive sounds are tight and smooth. It can get pretty aggressive too. My Strat is now as versatile as I could want. If you are doing an HSS configuration, make sure this pickup sees 500K. Also, a minor complaint, but the screws that came with this won’t fit in any strat route. They are too long to use without a pickup ring . Fortunately I had others so could get the look I wanted. Very recommended.

Tribute is awesome
Phenomenal pick up and customer service. The tribute nails that vintage tone with green sustain and violin like quality when distorted.

Dogear P90 with A5 - Incredible!
I'll try to make this as short as possible. When I was a young kid the first guitar I fell in love with was a mid 50s Junior. At the time I didn't play nor did I really understand a ton about guitars but knew this one was special. It could rip your face off like a terrific Tele, it could be the sweetest tones you ever heard for blues, it could rock and it could do so much more. I've spent most of my life dreaming of those tones and that guitar. I recently acquired a newer junior after years of wanting one. The tone wasn't there but it has a cool vibe. Talked to Sheptone because the customer service is second to none. After a few weeks of being on the fence about it, I took the plunge. After nearly a lifetime of looking for that tone that I heard as a kid and thought maybe I was making it all up, I finally have it. The Sheptone P90 is fu*#ing unreal. It captures all those tones that I have been dreaming of and then some. I'm completely blown away. Thank you so much for making my tone dreams a reality and for the terrific service. Best wishes.
