This pickup is really good. It is very clear and powerful. The highs and mids really stand out. It is great for playing zeppelin and works for any classic/hard rock. The first thing I played was the outro riff on what is and what should never be. Sounded like the record! The e and b strings sound loud and powerful, the licks and solos sound amazing.

I can not believe how huge the tone of the bridge pickup is! It's big, warm and fat with incredible articulation and clarity. The clean tone is spectacular and the distortion sounds are massive and crushing. Every note jumps thru sonically and rings thru the chords. Well Done Sheptone... another winner! AAAAA+++++!!!!!

This is my second purchase, I'm satisfied.

I got a beautiful 335 two years ago with Heartbreaker pickups in it from the previous owner. I really liked the tone and I was also aware that these pickups might work better in my Les Paul. I phoned and had a great discussion with the Sheptone man (thank you for returning my call and your consult!) and decided on the 6T8's for the 335 and to put the Heartbreakers in the Les Paul. Wow and Wow!!! The 335 came alive in a new way with rich clear harmonics that are articulate and alive. Everything from Blues, rock, country, jazz and you name it, is alive and full without being in any way muddy or overdone. The Heartbreakers in the Les Paul brought out a strength, articulateness, and clarity that were never a part of of this guitar for the last 20 years! And yes among other things you get that Heartbreaker sound and then some! I am using it more now than I have been because of these new pickups. Anyone who is on the fence about either of these pickups go for it! You won't look back .These are by far the best build quality and sound that I have played through in the last 50 years (yea, it has been that long) and still playing. Thanks for your great products.

I have 35/37 shows under my belt this year. Not one broken string, not one bad string out of the pack. After 35 years with another company, I'm glad I made the switch!

I have a "darker" Les Paul that can sound muddy on the neck pickup. I've tried a few different pickups but they all sounded woofy even wide open. I had the Tribute installed and it really compliments the guitar nicely. Much more open sounding, nice clarity and the low mids don't sound muddy. But it is still rich and not thin sounding. Also has a throatyness with overdrive I was not able to achieve prior (think Slash tone). Very happy with this purchase.

I put this one in the bridge position on a strat and, as promised, it loves high gain but is also a very sweet clean sound. Harmonics are there and the bass stays tight. Great balanced and articulate humbucker that has just the right amount of mids.

I have a Tele with an OG pickup that some people really like but I find bright and shrill like nails on a chalkboard. I did a full set of Sheptones on another guitar years ago and loved them so didn't think twice about getting this bridge pickup and I am not disappointed. Just like the title of this review, you can really sink your teeth into this pickup. It's got meat (ok, that's not really like a cookie) and rocks while maintaining its role in the bridge position. Plays great with the neck pickup (not a Sheptone) in the mid. Highly recommended.

These strings are amazing. They’re everything I need for my constant playing and traveling. I would recommend these to anyone at anytime.

Have to give Josh props for continuing to make the best sounding PAF pickups on the market today. Just installed a set of Tributes for a customer and man ole' man what a difference. Very balanced bass, mids, treble and they clean up nicely. Don't get much better then this. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a set of Tributes! Brian Calloway Calloway Guitars
