Acquistate due nagura, tenjou e mejiro. Non sono un esperto, ma mi sembrano ottime, le ho già usate su tre rasoi (base: una nakayama economica acquistata su ebay da 330mate) e funzionano (paragonabile all'affilatura su coticula e anche meglio). Spedizione velocissima e dal costo accettabile. Sarebbe stato carino che Maxim riuscisse ad inserire anche una botan, ma il set da tre nagura è out of stock. Sono molto soddisfatto!

One Kamisori Kita, one no-nonsense short & sweet Asagi with Goma. The Asagi takes some skill to work with but it's not difficult; it helps me to focus on each stroke because there's no room for error. A real old-skool piece, lots of good feel and speed here. It's small enough to lap easily, travel well with and it's very hard so it's great with Nagura and it delivers an A+ finish.It doesn't get better than that. I haven't lapped the Kita yet - I'm going to enjoy the stamps for a while longer while the layers of lacquer cure. This one is somewhat harder than my last Maruka Kita which is exactly what I was looking for. I ran a blade over it on just water and it's definitely an heirloom piece... fine, hard, good feedback and speed. Plus it's got that special 'Kita' thing goin' on which is hard to explain.

First time I have ordered from JNS (who came highly recommended by a few people I know) and I have to admit I am impressed by Maksim's speed & efficiency, friendliness and also flexibility (as I forgot to mention the one or the other detail when placing the order). I needed a Wa carbon Sujihiki for slicing, and the Yoshikane was at the right price. i received the knife after 2 days of ordering !! now that is fast shipping !! Iwasaki Kamisori 60mm You might ask yourself if the 10mm plus (from the 50mm model) worth the money, I have to say that if you are considering - like me - to shave with this gorgeous razor for the next 50 plus years and then give it to your children, the answer is YES.

I was expecting quite a lot when I finally found the yanagiba I wanted to buy. With the reputation that Shigefusa has and the loyal following I knew I would be getting a phenomenal knife, but the reality is better than the anticipation. I used the knife to prepare sashimi and ZERO pressure needed to be exerted to get the knife through the tuna and salmon I used. Simply placing the part of the blade closest to you and pulling the knife towards you results in clean easy smooth cuts. Needless to say I was beyond impressed. Thank you Maksim for the phenomenal service!

Zensho/Yoshikane SLD Kurouchi Damascus Gyuto 210 mm After years of being a true laser fanatic I bought this..... Not being a laser and also not being too thickish.... wow what a cutting performance!! I was totally surprised at the performance of this knife - and I do not mean this lightly - it outperforms all and each of my lasers. I customized the handles & it is my goto knife at present!
