I think that JapaneseNaturalSones.com is the greatest online store in Europe. Maxim really care about his customers and is always keen to help somebody or answer questions. Maksim has done a great job offering hard to find items from Japan. JNS has a wide selection of great products, and Maksim takes the time to learn what the customer is looking for. On several occasions he's convinced me NOT to buy something because I wouldn't like it. That shows that it's not just about the botoom line.

There are few places that carry Shigefusa knives. That alone would be reason to shop here.... but Maksim's reputation and knowledge are well known among kitchen knife nuts and that makes his site an absolute destination. I first discovered JNS through that very reputation at Kitchen Knife Forums. Since discovering the site, Maksim's videos and information have been a valuable and appreciated resource!

It's not hard to realize you're dealing with someone who has a true passion for what he does, and Maksim is a great example of that. When asking about a stone, Maksim gave me advice (in more than 10 emails) to what stone would suit me best. Then after buying that stone, he made no problem of adding another item so I would save on shipping!! I'll be coming back soon for more stones and a razor!!

I always get my order 1-2 days after the payment goes through, from JNS. My Koma Nagura is amazing. And I don't use that word so often as many these days. But I was amazed how fast I got a fine polish. Some Koma slurry on my Nakayama Kiita, and it just takes a few strokes to touch up my knives to hair popping sharpness. Thanks Maksim.
