Hondros is probably the best in the education business when it comes to becoming a well trained top agent in your area. That being said , the best way for new realtors to apply the business is from an experienced mentor. Find an experienced lending expert and a real estate to mentor you. One who is willing to groom you and is also a marketing genius . I class room can teach you the basic of law and ethics but doesn't always give you real world practical application. Find a mentor for real estate sales , marketing expert and several good lending specialists. This will prepare you better for all the things that will go wrong on those first couple transactions. Have a plan and partners who are experienced and willing to team up with you. They will walk you thru the pitfalls of real estate sales to smoothly close your first couple of transactions. This will give you your best chance to succeed.

I decided to pull the stings and start my real estate career! I decided to go with Hondros and everything was super informative and easy to learn! Self-paced online was amazing! Then after you finish your course you can do the Compucram, and that was so so so helpful! If you study what's given to you, you will pass!! I passed my first try! If I can pass my first try, so can you!!!

I bought the highest package for real estate back in January after trying to figure out how to obtain my real estate license. I have a couple of friends who are agents and were highly recommending Hondros College of Business. I called and inquired online and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the desired studying ways that was specific for me. Their Crammer class, the compucram, and the professors are all so professional and teach you until you know it by heart. I hope this review pushes you to make the leap of faith to start your journey to a real estate career. Thank you Hondros for being so insightful and helping me to pass my exam on the first try!

I think the timing to do the test is ripoff I’m in the same situation not feeling well but they wouldn’t restart that’s not good please buy a book from barns and noble you will save your self some money. Even better to watch YouTube. Stay away

I passed the National portion yesterday. Was my second try. Passed the OH State portion on my first try. Course online was good. The crammer course was great. I just studied that and did the simulated exams over and over again to pass the National portion. I felt ready and it worked. FYI... learn the concepts and don't bank on seeing questions that you have studied. Out of the National 90 questions, maybe 15 of them I had seen in my studies. The rest you need to know the concept behind them. Good Luck! I highly recommend studying the crammer everyday the week before you take your exam.

I have nothing bad to say about Hondros College! They are a fantastic college that teaches you a lot ! The only complaint I have is one of the fingerprinting Companys that they refer you to is a complete waste of time and money!! And yes I will throw them under the bus. The company is Fast Fingerprints.com. It was easy enough to schedule an appointment, but after the appointment, my file never made it to where it was supposed to go. I tried calling, and no answer. I left a message, and no return phone call. I went to their website, left a message, and no return message/email. Looked them up and they have a LOT of bad reviews. I had to pay again to have my finger prints taken by a different company so I can get my license. Hondros should not recommend this company any more.

I pass both portions of the Real Estate Exam today! I took the weekend classes on-line and studied every day using the material. Compu cram was a great tool but having Q&A sessions with real instructors was the best part! The webinars with Al were vey helpful, specially the module "Fear no math". I am thankful for the support, professionalism and tools provided by Hondros.

I used Hondros College's online prep course for the Ohio Life, Accident & Health insurance exam. The material was laid out very effectively and easy to follow. The CompuCram exam simulation is an excellent tool and gives a great breakdown of the sections where you need more time studying. I highly recommend this program for anyone looking to take the combined Life, Accident & Health insurance exam.

It has been a long road but I'm finally here, I thought I couldn't do it and I thought I wasn't going to make it .The math scared me most of all but from the beginning there was Val helping me get my classes set up, getting me the things I need, answering all my absurd question calling her for help because I was freaking out and she always lead me to the right person if she couldn't help.Thank you Val with all my love . To all the wonderful teacher that I had, Ladies you are so great and awesome , you desire a metal for putting up with me ,Vivian and Jackie, God bless you and may his face shine upon you and , I send all my love to you . I passed both sections of my tests today on the first attempt with no issue. This online program was easy to follow. There are several amazing study tools made available to prepare you for the test. Al was awesome in explaining the subject material and holding my interest. The fact of the matter is you must exert yourself to take advantage of the material provided to you. I used every resource that Hondros provided me. My books look used and are filled with notes. I wore out the CompuCram program. I kept taking those tests over and over until I was consistently scoring in the mid 90's. My point is, this program provides you with the tools and the opportunity to be successful, but you need to put in the time and effort.

I Understand that you want to limit the amount of people that become RE agents. But after taking these courses and tests, I believe the certain terms, vocab, and math are pointless. You are having potential Agents memorize terms and vocab that are not going to be as useful as other components of being an agent. The Online course are helpful but the instructors fly through them just to get through them. I do not believe memorizing these terms, there are as important qualities in becoming a successful agent. The wording on these test are very deceitful. The instructors have even stated that a lot of this information will fall to the waste side once one becomes an agent. I have received 86's on both of my test which I had to take multiple times. Stop using misleading questions, stop using complicated math- agents do not use this type of math/ besides that is what the loan companies are for. You test are too difficult and need to be reevaluated. It should not take 10 plus attempts to pass the final test which I know of agents who have taken it that many. Experience will make the best agents NOT temporarily memorizing terms and math that will be forgotten a week after taking the test.

Completed my 96 hour real estate course. Was waiting to do the final test due to work and you know LIFE! Anyways was ready to take my test and was told that they no longer offered my class. And that I would have to start all over….and pay all over again with there sister company. I was given ZERO notification that my credits would expire. And if I had been given notification I would have made arrangements to take my test as to NOT LOOSE MY CREDIT AND WHAT $600?! Stay away!

Hondros has the most AMAZING instructors & supportive staff!!! I struggle in Math & there were many times I thought, I can't do this. At one time I gave up, but the instructors walked me through my anxieties & provided me tools that would help. I cried with my first Certificate of Completion (happy tears)!! I am so excited!!! Thank you to Crystal, Vivian and Mostly Jackie Vandorn for never giving up on me, even when you had to say "sit back & listen" you knew my struggles & helped me overcome, worked with me, Coached me. I will never forget this college!!!!!!!!!! HONDROS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Professors ??? I called Hondros to speak to an instructor. They treated my call with utter confusion. They told me we don't have anyone here that can help you??? Professors ??? LOL !!!!

Started on this adventure in July 2021 and took my Ohio Real Estate Sales Exam on Saturday Jan 8th, 2022. I did everything online which made it super convenient. I took the crammer 3x to make sure I could complete all the questions within the time allowed. I failed the first crammer and passed the last two. Each test I improved. I took the last one the morning before my actual exam so everything would be fresh. I PASSED on my first try and so excited. All the practice flip cards really made the difference for me because I knew where I was the weakest and was able to focus in certain areas more. My only fair warning not related to Hondros, is that the online exam from PSI can be stressful getting it set-up and linked up with the exam. Make sure you log in a little early in case you have an PC trouble.

I Took this course and, when I did my post hours (20) they never submitted it to the division of real estate, which they said they would.....without knowing this, my license was suspended. I had to pay to have this reinstated. I called to ask them to refund my money for this, and the person I spoke to said they never have refunded money for reinstatements. This was during covid, maybe someone "dropped" the ball, however, it really caused me grief, I was very busy, and couldnt do anything regarding real estate until I was reinstated.... plus an expense and the hassle of the paperwork...not good..

I completed all the appraisal trainee courses and college to become an appraisal and no mentors are taking on trainees. After a year of actively looking, cold calling and networking and no one is hiring. Don't take the courses you will waste your money. Instead get a mentor first I wasted 3 years of my life and tens of thousands of dollars to not be employed.

Ohio Title License. I did the Compucram "course". I passed every stimulated exam except the 1st two I took. The last 12 times I scored a 90% or above. I had the green "ready to go" indicator for the last month. Imagine my surprise when I took the real test and only scored a 65%. I didn't feel as the information from compucram was on the actual test. They did refund my money but I feel as if it was a waste and did not help

Hondros was just what I needed. I started taking classes in April and I passed my exam yesterday 9/25. I tried online, live stream and in class. I enjoyed in class the best. I loved being able to learn on my own time, because I'm a VERY busy mommy of three. Compu Cram is awesome! Money well spent. Tom and Bob were awesome instructors and so were my law teachers.

I was planning to do my RE Sales classes at the local community college when someone recommended Hondros to me. I am so glad they did! It was much more economical than community college and offered me much more. I tried all the different class options but mostly I did my classes online at home. I didn't love the live stream (but this could have been because of the content, Law has never really be my thing). And I felt okay about the in-person class (which could have had more to do with the teacher). I LOVED all of the exam prep support. It was great! Compu cram was wonderful to use both on my computer and I really appreciated the great functionality of it on my phone too. Besides using Hondros, I also bought the PSI practice test package so that I could get familiar with the format they would use on the exam since in Ohio our real estate exam is through PSI. I am proud to say I did well on my exam and passed with flying colors! Before this I hadn't been in school for close to 20 years and will be forever grateful for Hondros College and all the work you have put into making as great as it is!
