This mattress is the best I have slept on. Its firm enough that I get all the support I need @ 220 lbs. It feels firm, but it has that cushion on the top I never get pressure points. I have had great sleep with this mattress. It is also cool enough for me. Edge support is great too. It soft and supportive enough. It makes it easier to get out of bed, but supportive enough when sitting on the edge your not falling out. I would purchase this again!

The first Helix I ordered felt heavenly, because I prefer the feel of a soft bed. But every morning I had back pain. I gave it a few weeks for my body to adjust to the mattress, because the return window is 100 days, but it didn’t go away. I emailed Helix and a representative immediately designed a new mattress for me (medium to medium firm) and arranged the pickup of my medium soft mattress. I thought the medium firm would still be too soft, because I wondered whether I needed a firm mattress in the end, but I went with the rep’s recommendation. I’ve had good experiences sleeping on Tuft & Needle and Caspar because they are quite firm, but I never liked the feel of the firmness, although it was better for my back. I’ve now slept on the new medium/medium firm mattress Helix designed for me, and I have had no back pain (no more than usual...having chronic back problems), and it still has enough of the marshmallow softness I love, while also having much better support. Pickup of my softer mattress was seamless, and I think it has been donated to charity which makes me happy. Don’t be discouraged if your mattress doesn’t feel right! Helix has got your back. (Oh my god, did I just say that?)

Helix has been the perfect sleep solution for us. As it turns out, our needs are very different, starting with the fact I weigh an unfortunate 120 lbs more than my wife. This mattress is Wonderful! I do not take with as many pains, and my dogs sleep better too!

The bed was fairly easy to set up and came in great packaging. A second person to help set it up is nice, but not necessary if you are somewhat fit. I do find the bed comfortable for side sleeping. It doesn’t relieve all my back pain, but it’d help if I’d stretch/do yoga. I’d buy the bed again.

All ready the sides of the mattress seem to be getting week. I wonder what they are going to be in just a year. Will I have to replace it? I am getting a good night sleep with the Helix Sleep system. Just concerned about how long it will last.

We were debating a bed with numbers but reviews were making me nervous, as was the price. Then we found Helix and decided to just go for it. Dual happiness! My side is soft, his is firm, and the bed is perfect. I went back for the Helix pillow!

The bed is alright the base is pretty flimsy and the delivery took two weeks longer than I was told it would.

My son tried this mattress; he's a side sleeper. While it did well for him on his back, he didn't like it on his side. Kept waking from discomfort and falling asleep on his back. Only to wake up later on his side. He's a small guy, 5'8", 120lbs

I have had the best sleep ever since I got my Helix. It is just the right firmness and keeps me warm. I'm a side sleeper and have had trouble in the past with my back and turning around all night. I now sleep soundly.

I got my Helix bed a week before I had back surgery. It has been a blessing. I can lay on my back, on my side...both of which I couldn't do on my old bed. I love my bed. Thank you!! Oh and the customer service is great.

I've been sleeping on my new mattress for a number of weeks and find it very comfortable. There is one drawback, however. The frame I purchased to hold the mattress is flat on the top and doesn't have a built-up "edge" on the sides which would keep the mattress in place. The result is that every morning I must shift the mattress back onto the frame because it's moved somewhat during my sleep. The mattress is not too heavy so this isn't difficult to do. I did search for a frame that had built-up "edges" on it, but couldn't find any on the web. I don't remember if the frame sold by Helix has a flat surface.

This bed wasn't cheap, and it was worth every penny. It's amazingly comfortable and my back problems have gotten considerably better in the time I've been sleeping on it. Everybody else who's slept on it has remarked on how great it is and said they're seriously thinking about getting their own the next time they replace their bed. Extremely impressed.

My wife and I were a bit scheptical about purchasing a mattress online. But, due to the positive reviews, customization option, and price tag, we decided to go ahead and try out the Helix mattress. After sleeping on this bed for just one night, we both fell in love with it. It meets all of hour individual needs and far exceeded our expectations. We could not be happier. If you are turned off by the price tag of other hybrid mattresses, look no further! Well worth the money!

I've gotten better sleep with less back pain from the moment I started using a Helix mattress. Even better, my husband can get great sleep too! Thanks to the customizable sides of the Helix mattress, my husband can sleep in a firm mattress that supports him on his back, while I can customize my side for side sleeping. After 3 years of sleeping in separate beds, due to pain and sleep disturbances, we are finally sleeping in the same bed again. All thanks to Helix.

Great bed! Simply the truth! I love to retire each day in it!

I am typing this review from my delightful Helix mattress. It is wonderful and everything I hoped for. I would recommend this to anyone. My one complaint is with the instructions provided with the foundation. If came with four horseshoe shaped things that helped it lock into place. In the instructions provided it did not say anywhere how to install them properly. When we put it together the first time we did it incorrectly and it slipped apart. Then my boyfriend tried a different configuration with it. So I would love it more if the foundation came with clear instructions on how to use those pieces.

I bought this mattress hoping updating to a newer mattress would help with my back pain that I woke up with every morning. The mattress was comfortable, however it did not improve my back pain.
