Service is unpredictable and doesn't seem to be improving. Whisky is good which means I put up with it
The first two months were great however I've now not received anything in about two months. This isn't the cheapest subscription and the lack of delivery is making me reconsider this
Received the wrong order and emailed but have not heard anything back from the customer service team
Was given a voucher as a gift. Have challenged the fact that my bank card details are required to redeem the voucher. I don't believe this is true and only an internal requirement of Shopify the global purchasing platform. Have sent numerous emails and had zero response. VERY poor service. Not impressed. Also, privacy notice contains some questionable points particularly around legal basis of data processing.
I excitedly ordered an gift annual subscription for my partner for a birthday present. I paid extra for a gift box, rather than just a voucher. The box was delivered promptly but got battered on it's way. I realise that you won't be able to control what happens once it leaves your depot, but perhaps the packaging could be considered so that the gift arrives looking smart for the recipient. My partner opened the box and followed the instructions on the gift card inside. It took him to your website and straight away showed him the price of his gift. That's seriously disappointing. I'd not expected him to be able to see how much I'd paid. He asked me several times if I was sure I'd actually paid for a subscription because your website kept showing him the price. He even paused subscribing until I could go through it with him, just in case your website wanted him to pay. Can you review your gifting process so that other lucky recipients don't receive such a poor introduction to your organisation? I'm sure that once it's set up it'll be brilliant.
Ordered a subscription for my husband for Christmas. The gift code he was provided did not work. Between us we have emailed many times over the ladt 2 weeks and none of these have been answered. I'm very upset about the lack of communication and wondering whether I have lost my money.
I received a subscription gift card for Christmas from ny wife. The code does not work and Whisky_me are not responding to emails from my wife or myself. This is not the usual high standard of customer service we have experienced in the past.

My son bought a subscription for a Christmas present. Nothing ever arrived. I mentioned this to him and he reckoned the best way to resolve this was simply to purchase another subscription. Two flasks arrived, The Lakes, then Penderyn, since which nothing else has shown up. Beware therefore of subscribing to this company unless, like me, you end up with just two average glasses of whisky.

My two best friends and I now live at different ends of the country. During Covid we wanted to find a way of connecting - so we all three of us signed up for Whisky Me, and do a monthly whisky tasting on Microsoft Teams! We each have a shared love of scotch, and this has been the perfect way for us to continue our friendship through the pandemic and now that we live all over England. We are huge fans!
After a very long time being a member. I won't give up my membership. WhiskyMe takes the headache out of choosing my "Future Me" purchases, "gift" purchases and "I need right NOW" purchases based on the variety they post to us. Also helps that my membership provides discounts in central London; when I have to pick up last minute emergency "gift" bottles from distinguished whisky purveyors inside the Square Mile on route home back to the coastal sticks where I reside.
Found the checkout extremely difficult to negotiate. At one point I had £497 in my basket! Eventually worked our how to reduce to what I required. Confused by confirmatory email as it seemed to suggest I had only ordered one gift voucher and not two.
Nice and easy, delivery quick, husband loves getting his pouch every month.
Delivery has been very hit and miss this year, pouches seem to arrive at random, often after the live tastings. Not good value for money.
I was so grateful to WhiskyMe team for responding to my purchase issue outside of their office hours. Due to living on West Coast US, overlap is only 2 hrs in the morning and because of this extra mile support I was able to get the Christmas gift to family in the UK on time!!! Thank you!!!
