I have waited for weeks for the supplements to be delivered. I get a notification from shop that they were delivered and they weren’t. I had to call customer service to find out that they haven’t even been started!!! That I will have to wait another two weeks for processing. They are investigating to see why it doesn’t show my subscription. The labs went great but the supplement subscription has been sub par. There was no communication about a delay and no way to see about it in the app. I sent screenshots to the customer service representative, hopefully this gets fixed. I will change my review if things get fixed in a timely manner.

No way to see the test results and send them to a physician, super confusing user interface

It is hard to navigate in my results and not possible to download it in one comprehensive report that has EVERY PIECE OF INFO in it that I can then take to my healthcare providers. I extensively exchanged messages about this issue with customer service and the best advice I got was to save it screenshot by screenshot for 20 scores . My sense is that I wasted my money to get this test done.

I started with Viome in March of this year. I had the full body intelligence test and started probiotics and supplements. I was in a severe flare of of several autoimmune diseases and felt terrible all the time. Since following the dietary recommendations and taking the supplements over several months I have come to feel the best I've felt in years! I'm also off immunosuppression meds for 2 month now with no deterioration in how I feel. I can't recommend this company highly enough. They have quite literally completely changed my life.

I’ve been a fan for biome for years now but recently I’ve been left with doubts. The toothpaste is meant to be customized to your individual biome which is why you do the oral test however once I had placed the order, it was shipped the next day and arrived within days which is unlikely to be customized as the initial timeline for creation of toothpaste I aaa given was 11 days, far from next day. Not sure how one manufactures customized toothpaste within a day.

I am confused and don’t understand my results or how I buy the supplements, or which supplements I should be getting. Is there a number to call or an email I can reach out to?

I have been using Viome supplements for 29 months now and tests (every four months) show that my cholesterol/triglycerides numbers have been consistently lowered to a point that I am just advised to take only 10mg of Atovarstatin. I am very happy with the supplements and I planned to permanently use them every day.

It tells your gut microbiome which is cool, but not helpful unless you have a professional look at it. I mainly got this because after getting c diff (which I did take medicine for and got resolved), my stomach has been a mess. You take a very long questionnaire as well, answering many questions, including what you have been diagnosed with. I was diagnosed with gastroparesis and listed that (as well as c diff since it was recent), however the results for the food it says to enjoy and superfoods for me, did not take that into account. Many of the things recommended to me are things that are not optimal to eat with gastroparesis. Nuts and seeds as well as fruits and veggies (veggies can be cooked to ease digestion though) can be harder to digest with gastroparesis for example. And other than chicken and salmon, it recommended meats that are usually not easily found and are often expensive, such as emu, duck, eel, ostrich, and oysters. Honestly, this made me feel even more hopeless since it didn’t take the gastroparesis or my personal budget into account. It also recommended I don’t drink aloe vera water, however that has been a saving grace with my gastroparesis. I’m sure this helps some people, but it’s not very helpful for people with gastroparesis.

I’ve been waiting for weeks. This is my third tests and each time it takes several months to get results. They send at least one part back each time, which pushes your results back weeks. Doesn’t show any progress from previous to new results so no way of knowing if all the supplements they sell you even work.

For me, Viome for gut health wasn’t worth buying. The statistical values of reference are unclear and unverifiable other than changing data points. The foods that are labeled “Avoid”, most of them are very healthy and necessary for my diet. Blood work from my Dr. shows contradiction in Viomes worry and suggested elimination of healthy foods for me. If I was less educated and had only Viome to suggest a diet then I would be worse off then I am now with a Registered Dietitian. There is some benefit to the test, it has some good suggestions, but Viome lacks over all health of the body and focus’ on just the gut. Telling me to avoid “black beans” because of gas, totally ignoring the tremendous benefits of beans ( healthy fiber, protein, carbs) was shocking. Viome’s suggestion of a diet for me is unhealthy for my needs, is in conflict with my Dietitian, and in inaccurate conjunction with my blood work results of my bodily functions (Liver, kidneys, exc. ). I’m unhappy with the purchase. I paid to give them a sample for data collection.

I ordered the supplements. They smelled rancid. I contacted the company and complained. They put my supplements on pause and kept repeating the advice I was already following. There was NO investigation and after a few months started sending me the rancid supplements again AND charging me. . . . and my thought was there would be some resolution before I started receiving the supplements again. There was none just send us more money. No concern about my experience

For a gut test I think you asked far too many invasive questions - you're not my physician and I wonder what measures you take to protect this information. Also you should have included a warning to note what I ate the day of the test (yesterday) - If you had warned me I would've made a point to remember. This feels sketchy to me

It's been a year and I just read through my second test! But wait, I was following diet recommendations almost 100% and taking all of the supplements and toothpaste. . . many -31- of my new test results are LOWER! I do love Viome, but my results have me baffled! Why have only 23 my test results only slightly improved? I have been following a nearly perfect diet and religiously taking my supplements. Abstained from drinking. I have felt a bit more depressed and tired- serotonin levels have dropped. Honestly, I expected a lot more. My health seems worse and I aged 3 years in one year.
