I would’ve liked more compression. Also, the bottom portion digs into my heel. Great lateral support though. I will wear when my ankle heals a bit more.

I have a long history of ankle sprains, mild to severe. Most recently, in January, while wearing my new hi-tech hiking boots, I rolled my ankle again. 5 months later, it is still tender, but I am walking with confidence again because I started using the Ultra High-5's for each ankle. They work so well in my hiking boots that I bought two Ultra Zoom braces to wear with low-top trail shoes. I have several 3 to 6-mile hikes with each, and they are comfortable and supportive. I have a drawer full of ankle braces, and without a doubt, the Ultra Ankle provides the most support. As far as comfort goes, I had a hot spot after one walk where my sock was bunched up. I consider that an operator error.

I’m 38 and play way too much soccer for my age. I sprained my ankle about 8 months ago and “tweak” them regularly…I got one ultra ankle brace to try it out on my weakest ankle. I followed the custom fitting instructions (with the hair dryer) and then played my first game in them the next day. Played two more games today. I didn’t even know it was on my ankle. We played in the pouring rain and super wet/soggy grass and never tweaked/rolled my ankle once. I’ll be buying a second one for my other ankle. It didn’t seem to impact my touch at all from what I could tell. It does squeak a bit, but it doesn’t really bother me.

My daughter started to use the Ulta Ankle brace about a month ago. It molded to her feet very quickly and seems to be comfortable.

i wear a size 8 and got the smallest size and its way too big, doesnt even fit my foot. every time i bend my foot ( every step i walk ) the bottom part stabs me in the middle of my foot and hurts so bad.

I ordered the straps and padding several times in the last 15 years and I will continue to do so because it is a perfect fit and work wonderfully.

Fantastic brace would definitely purchase again.

My daughter won’t wear, she says they restrict her movement too much.
