I was struggling with significant insomnia due to stress and anxiety. My Truvaga improved my sleep by about 50%-60%. Rather than waking up every 3 hours, I started sleeping for longer stretches of time. While it didn't totally cure my insomnia, it definitely gave me the calming support I needed in order for additional sleep support to work (i.e. calming supplements). My Truvaga has been instrumental in healing insomnia. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I do not like that it was designed to stop working after a certain number of sessions. In addition, since you're forced to throw it out, the company provides no way to recycle it - you have to bury it in a landfill. If Truvaga changes their business model so you can have unlimited uses of it and develops a recycling program, I'd change my review to 5 stars.

The Truvaga didn't help my son who has been using it twice a day for the past 3 weeks since receiving it. He has dyautonomia due to Long Covid. He feels revved up all the time, on sympathetic overdrive. Unfortunately, there has been no noticeable improvement in his symptoms using the Truvaga. I'm sure it is helpful for others, just not for us.

Many years ago I did Dr. Steven Porges "Safe and Sound" protocol for Vagus Nerve hypervigilance. At that time I noticed an impressive improvement in my level of calmness, clarity and sociability. I had forgotten what this felt like until I had been doing Truvaga for about a week, when I experienced a stillness and presence that had eluded me for quite some time. From this experience I suspect that the stress and strain of managing life on a daily basis influences the Vagus Nerve towards a hyperactive state. Managing autonomic regulation using Truvaga will likely continue as a component of my self maintenance routines.

This product has helped my son enhance his vagal nerves. He has severe VN disfunction after hockey injury that caused severe c1-2 neck instability. We are happy with the product and well worth the money. Nerves take a long time to heal but ultrasound studies will help show the nerve growth over time.
