I recently purchased a sound system for my Ford Bronco, which includes a rear subwoofer mounted to the tailgate. Overall, the installation process was very straightforward, and the sound quality itself has been good. However, I did run into an issue with the mounting hardware for the rear subwoofer. The unit uses two plastic J-clips that slide into the rear door, and unfortunately, one of the clips arrived broken. Given the price point of this system, I was surprised to see plastic clips used in such a critical mounting area. For a product in this range, metal clips would be a much more durable and appropriate choice. As a result, I had to repair the broken clip myself in order to complete the installation, which is something I should not have had to do with a new product. While I’m satisfied with the sound performance, I would strongly recommend improving the quality of the mounting hardware to better match the overall value of the system.

Great experience overall! No real complaints, besides wanting a plug and play amplifier for the kicker cs plug and play and subwoofer. But the quality is good enough that it’s not a major focus.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a do yourself install! They videos help with installation of all projects when it comes to sound system installation!
