Haven’t had this installed long but it was super simple and works like a charm. I had a few issues pairing it with my phone to view videos but Michael patiently listened to my questions and got me the information I needed in a jiffy. Stellar customer service, and a great product. May have to take a look to see what else I need (want) at Trail Grid Pro for my third gen Tacoma. J. J.

I spent almost a year researching what head unit that I wanted to put in my 2019 4 Runner. I looked everywhere, Best Buy, Crutchfield, Amazon,etc…. I accidentally came across Trail Grid Pro. I looked several more months and finally pulled the trigger on a Sony plug and play bundle. It showed up in 3 days and I installed it in about 1 1/2. I had one small issue but with an email and phone call to Mike, it wa resolved in a matter of minutes. The unit looks great, sounds even better, and was very affordable for what you are getting. Forget these big box stores. trail Grid Pro has everything you need and the people are genuine and eager to help. I’ll shop nowhere else from here on out for my Runner!

Very pleased I choose TGP! They worked with me on a system for my '21 Tundra TRD Pro and then gave me a great deal on a full plug and play Alpine ILX-F511 kit with front and rear cameras and a dash cam. I’m local and arranged for TGP to do the install at their shop and at the same time install black out parts to replace some of the silver trim, which required the removal of most of the dash. I couldn’t be happier with the value of the Alpine system, quality of the build and work, and the friendliness of the staff.

Never been brave enough to do an install like this but the how to install video convinced me. So I ordered and got the speakers and accessories quickly. (I’ve ordered products on other sites and though the shipping was speedy enough, they did not actually ship for several week days. Kinda defeats everything). Started installing next day and got stuck once I got to the first rear door. Connecting wire was not correct for my vehicle. Spoke with Customer Service and they got me set up with the correct connectors with apologies. Though the project was stalled, it wasn’t for long. Two days later I was able to finish and the sound is so much better! The speakers are good the company is great. When I need anything else for my Tacoma, I will shop here first.

Bought a Sony XAV-8100 last year for my 4-runner. A year later Apple car play would no longer work and would keep crashing. Sent an e-mail in the hopes they would have a fix. After trying a couple of suggestions without any improvement they immediately said they would send out a replacement head unit. No blaming the customer or back and forth arguing. It's great to deal with a company that takes care of their customers.

I contacted customer service after messing up the wires pulled through from the cab into the engine compartment installing an Anytime Camera on my Tacoma. Cliff sent me a replacement wire at no charge and the rest of the install was a breeze. Great customer service and great products!

Head unit on my 2014 4Runner failed and dealership quoted $1600 to replace with same. Um, no. Just, no. Found this site and the 4000 fit the bill. The unit arrived promptly and it was stuffed with extras of EVERYTHING. Extra clips, extra screws, extra wires, extra plugs. More stuff than I knew what to do with. Even better! The unit was Maestro compatible, and it was ALREADY flashed for my car. No geeky computer skills required. The video was incredibly detailed and very clear in each step. The only thing missing was a reminder that you might need to adjust the depth of the unit on the rails so it is flush with the face of the dash unit when that is replaced. Truly plug and play and I now have Adroid Auto at my fingers. I am feeling sufficiently empowered to tackle my 2007 Tundra. Obviously, I am not your typical grandmother, but you get the point.

The front camera is a need if you are a tundra owner. The plug-and-play kit makes the installation extremely easy. Thanks!

I purchased the Sony xav-ax8100 plug and play bundle and I’m very happy with the unit. My install was easy but I did encounter some problems with rear speakers not working due to no fader control. After testing all rear speakers to make sure they were working it came down to the PAC interface not working properly. I had written several emails to Trail Grid Pro and they always responded sometimes way after business hours. When I told them what I thought the problem was (PAC) they didn’t ask any questions. The immediately sent me another PAC and that fixed everything! They never had an attitude or accused me of doing something wrong, they just did what they could to fix my issue. To me, customer service is more important than even the product and the Sony is a good product. The true test of a good business is how they perform when things don’t work as they should and the folks at TGP passed with flying colors! I will be purchasing again from TGP! In fact, I have my eye on that Kicker speaker plug and play bundle! Lol!

Very nice unit for upgrading to have the ability to use wireless Apple CarPlay. Very easy to install. Installed the microphone in the factory location. Clear installation instructions. Great customer support.

About the trail grid pro anytime camera and it's one of the best mods I've ever done, simple and easy to install. I ran into a jam and Brian from trail grip pro. I gave them guys a call and they personally return my phone call and help me out. Customer service is on a thousand! Thanks again Brian for all your help. I really do appreciate it and much success to your company.

I wish I would have bought this sooner. I was desperately looking to upgrade my stock Tacoma sound system. I wound up going with Bought the Sony XAV-AX8100 from Trail Grid pro. The unit came plug and play. I literally installed this stereo in 15 minutes. It was easy and straightforward to install. And the sound is incredible. Simply incredible. The display is on another level. The response is as fast as any iPad or computer display. It is worth every penny. I would definitely buy again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We purchased headlights and the Carplay head unit for our 4runner and everything was EXCELLENT! Customer service was on point as I was able to call Cliff directly to get the assistance I needed. Highly recommend and will definitely purchase in the future!

All I can say is wow! What a great option to upgrade your sound system. So simple and easy. Videos and instructions were easy to follow which made the install a breeze. I had a few questions and they were answered within 24 hours. Great product and awesome customer service!!

A giant shout out to both Cliff and Bryan just super amazing service and commitment to their customers. I just had a number of things done @ their shop in Frederick, MD, (Pedal Commander, Cali Rock Sliders w/ Rhino covering, Morimoto light replacement, Sony 8100 head unit and Fin Fabb Molle panel install in the rear window 1/4 panels and ICS dash mount kit. They did an amazing job, great front end discussions on what I wanted to have done. While there since I came in from out of town, great recommendation for a local hotel and fantastic restaurant recommendation in down town Frederick!! Just can't say enough good about the entire experience.

I bought this bundle to replace the stock head unit that was in my 2017 Tacoma SR5. I read great reviews about TGP and kept my eye out on it. I finally pulled the trigger on cyber Monday and got this great bundle. Shipping was fast, arrived in 4 days. Install time only took 25 min and Cliff was assisting me via text with some trouble shooting. The unit looks great and was an instant upgrade for apple car play and improved sound quality! I highly recommend TGP!
