We just got the classic bed in natural and the color is gorgeous. I was on the fence about getting the cushion with the head board, so I ordered the swatch to consider getting the cushion later. I’m glad we didn’t get it though because we have a taller mattress and it would have been too much. I’m so happy with this purchase! And I would say once all the pieces were out of the packaging it took maybe 3 minutes to assemble … but getting it out of the boxes and plastic took nearly 40 minutes! But now that it’s here, it was all worth it! :)

No squeaks or squalls. Only take a few minutes to put together once all boxes are opened. Holds my helix mattress firmly. Now thinking about getting the desk to compliment it in the near future.

It took over one week and multiple follow up calls to received the the last piece, which is the mattress. Customer Service coordination for Domestic Operation could improve its sense of urgency!

I am so thrilled with the quality of the bed frame I purchased! It is an extremely sturdy bed, which is great. Of course, this made it a tad heavy to carry these boxes inside, but that was well worth it. My only small complaint was actually that the bed shipped quicker than I was expecting! This is not a bad thing, but I never got an email notification that the bed shipped, meaning I did not know the tracking details or that the bed would be coming in three separate boxes. For this reason, when I received only one box the first day, I was confused and thought my order was wrong. All of this would have been solved if I had received the shipment notification email to let me know three boxes were on the way. So very small complaint and overall, I am so excited by how high quality this bed is.

I purchased a king size Thuma Classic + Pillowboard last fall. I love the bed frame, but the Pillowboard was just okay in terms of size for my 14” high mattress. Then I purchased a 3” thick mattress topper, and the Pillowboard all but disappeared, so I purchased the matching bolsters for $55. That was a waste of money. They are poorly sewn, different lengths, and filled with a soft foam. I’ll take the advice of others and switch to several yoga blocks to lift the Pillowboard.

The service was friendly and informative. We had already made the selection from the website. Shipping was speedy. The service that removed our- very heavy!- old mattress was efficient and friendly. The only slight issues are the lack of instruction for fitting the headboard and that now we are left with two extra legs. Any ideas of what we can do with two extra legs?

I ordered our 2nd Thuma bed for our daughter a few weeks ago. I have to say that the engineering of the bed in terms of the joinery and stability are great and why we repurchased. However, this time we bought the darker espresso wash and one of the side rails has already chipped just from my daughter reaching under the bed to grab something! The finish splinters off so easily. Definitely not what I was expecting from such an expensive price point.

What a joy to assemble! Clear, detailed instructions. The frame fit together like a giant puzzle. it was so easy! I love it. Provides an excellent base for my mattress with room for storage underneath. Also lovely to look at, beautiful craftsmanship.

The pieces fit together well. Very sturdy. Looks great. I love the felt strips on the slats to prevent a squeaky bed. I don’t believe other brands have that feature.

My experience with Thuma has been wonderful from beginning to end. Responsive customer service that has answered all my questions, quick shipping, effortless set-up, and most importantly… looks amazing. I made a mistake ordering an item and within 24 hours, had a prepaid return slip and money refunded shortly thereafter. Would definitely recommend for all of the above reasons!
