Beautiful bed and comfortable.

I bought a bed as a xmas gift to be delivered to the receiver. Imagine my surprise when I learned that 2 were delivered. As it was a gift, the receivers thanked me profusely and made plans to get a mattress for the second bed - fully believing they had been gifted 2 beds. Then Customer service contacted me AND the gift recipient about getting the errant bed back. They are pricey so I don’t blame them. But in the end, the company send out someone to do a pickup who required the recipient’s help in carrying out the extra bed. And there was no customer service follow up or compensation… if ever a BIG discount code or gift certificate would have been useful- this was it. I gave them a nice bed, yes, but they THOUGHT, I had given them a guest bed too. So asking for it back made the experience a little scummy and took a big deal of shine off the whole thing.

I ordered the classic nightstand in walnut to go with our essential bed in walnut with the dark gray pillow board. Shipping was super fast. Nice look.

Pillar bench is a little less stable to sit on than I expected, but the under bed drawers were solid as were the classic nightstand. One small chip in the wood for a classic nightstand, but nothing noticeable from distance

Thuma does not disappoint!

I order the King Size Classic Bed on Jan 8th and received the frame on Jan 11th, so shipping was fast! I used regular shipping, I think it was fedex. Box was a bit damage and small gouge on the bottom of the headboard. I don’t blame Thuma on this but the delivery guy. Doesn’t bother me, you really have to look for it. The frame was package well, took more time getting everything out of the box and unwrapped than it did to assemble the frame. Spent 15 mins assembling and 45 mins of unboxing. Overall really happy with the color and quality of the wood. No wobble at all, no noise while moving around on the mattress. We got an airloom mattress and it fits perfectly on the frame.
