After much research, we are thrilled with our choice to go with Thuma and the classic bed. It was the easiest build and the walnut color was perfect. Also, the alabaster pillow board came as shown on website. Thank you!

I ordered our 2nd Thuma bed for our daughter a few weeks ago. I have to say that the engineering of the bed in terms of the joinery and stability are great and why we repurchased. However, this time we bought the darker espresso wash and one of the side rails has already chipped just from my daughter reaching under the bed to grab something! The finish splinters off so easily. Definitely not what I was expecting from such an expensive price point.

What a joy to assemble! Clear, detailed instructions. The frame fit together like a giant puzzle. it was so easy! I love it. Provides an excellent base for my mattress with room for storage underneath. Also lovely to look at, beautiful craftsmanship.

The pieces fit together well. Very sturdy. Looks great. I love the felt strips on the slats to prevent a squeaky bed. I don’t believe other brands have that feature.

My experience with Thuma has been wonderful from beginning to end. Responsive customer service that has answered all my questions, quick shipping, effortless set-up, and most importantly… looks amazing. I made a mistake ordering an item and within 24 hours, had a prepaid return slip and money refunded shortly thereafter. Would definitely recommend for all of the above reasons!

I bought my Thuma frame back in 2019. There is nothing on the market that is this well built, from then until now. It doesn’t even make sense, because it took me longer to get the pieces out of the box than to put the whole thing together. Solo deadlifting a ~200lb king size mattress onto it was the only moment I began to stress. This frame *does*not*move*. It does not squeak and is beyond sturdy. I recently upgraded to the their newest and greatest version of pillowboard cover in Alabaster Linen. (Absolute luxury) They were kind enough (and aware!) that the new cover I purchased would not fit the old model I had and generously gave me a nice discount to purchase the whole pillowboard again. I am grateful I did. Deoending on your mattress depth, I also would recommend purchasing the matching bolsters so you can gaze upon this absolute luxury all day. The esthetic is clean, simple, and polished. Soft and incredibly strong. I feel like spoiled royalty every night. I also love that this product is accessible to all who want to invest a small fraction in comparison to the value this bed will give you, night after night. And in my case. . . . year after year.

I _love_ the thuma bed - the engineering is super clever and the assembly was easy & super satisfying. I didn't love the blanket I ordered with it (personal preference- just didn't like the color), but finding out how to return on your site is difficult; I was directed to the concierge process, only to be sent a link on your site that I feel should have been super easy to find, but wasn't.

I am a 65 yr old woman and was able to assemble it myself by following the steps. No tools needed so it was fairly easy. I did need some help getting the roll of slats upstairs but I carried the rest myself by making several trips. I love the look and it’s not as high as my previous bed, which is what I wanted. Very happy so far.

Frame does not rock once mattress and bodies are on it. Headboard will rock slightly if standing bedside deliberately moving the headboard back and forth. Easy setup and breakdown. Headboard cushion could be firmer. Elected to have upholstered in textile that was easier to clean and came in the color green. Fits Sheraton mattress fine sans boxspring. Nightstand legs don’t match bed frame legs but found something comparable on Amazon. Cheyenne on Chestnut is a dream to work with, perfect customer service.

I was given two beds by mistake at my Condo. I put the wrong one together and it took me 4 hours to do it. Had leftover parts? Got call from mailroom and owner came to pick up his bed. I then put together my Thuma bed, which took about 15 minutes, looks great and very solid. I love the wide bases on the bed frame. The smaller bases would leave marks in the floor (the first bed had smaller bases/legs). Everything on the Thuma looked more solid and better built!

I don’t yet have it all put together (dresser remains to be done), but the Nest-system nightstand and the Classic Bed (with pillow board) are fantastic. The design is simplicity itself. Choices, choices, choices. I never wavered on the Classic Bed, but I debated getting the Classic Nightstand or maybe the Beam Side Table but decided I’d stick with Thuma’s Nest system for simplicity’s sake. When I replace some living room furniture, the Classic or Beam will probably end up as end tables. All that praise said, I have an issue with delivery. I was at work when FedEx arrived. They didn’t bring the boxes up to the second floor where my apartment is. Rather, they stacked the boxes behind the stairs in the ground floor breezeway. I had to move ALL of them myself, and that wasn’t overly fun. Would be one thing if they’d contacted me and said they couldn’t or wouldn’t take them up the stairs, as I could have made arrangements. Poor service on FedEx’s part, but in no way subtracts from Thuma’s products! A++👍
