Install took a total of 45 minutes backing the truck up on 8” ramps (truck has Eibach springs). Cold start has a crazy rattle in tail pipe, NO FAULT of thermal ! Had it with a vibrant muffler welded in the stock system to. Just echos more with 3” pipe. After warm up it’s AMAZING . Love it . Only thing is I wish you offered the turn down option with a black ceramic coated tail section. Other than that I love it. 10 thumbs up !!!

Just wanted to leave a 5 star review for the Thermal R&D team. I actually ordered wrong exhaust type but Stephanie came to the rescue and got my GPF mid pipes replaced! Installed today and the exhaust and craftsmanship is flawless!

I have modified a lot of cars in my life and was hesitant about replacing my exhaust on my new Ford Explorer Tremor. More than once I have had to quiet down an exhaust that I modified on a car or truck because of too much noise or drone. That was not the case this time. The sound of the Thermal R&D 2.5" is perfect. On cold starts. On idle. On the highway at 70 MPH where it is quiet when you want it to be. And in manual mode when you are chasing curves on a twisty road. This makes the truck come alive and sound like a sports car. Very high quality stainless steel fittings, excellent packaging. DO it you won't regret it and you won't need to quiet it down for highway use.

I put the 3” GPF exhaust on my wife’s ST last weekend. The fit and finish is outstanding! Color coding the bags makes the install super easy. It took a bit of time to get everything level and the tips where we wanted them but over all it was about an hour and a half for the install. The sound is great! It’s not as loud as I was expecting from online videos but all of those were non GPF cars. I’m assuming the GPF is restricting air flow and sound. It’s super quite at cruising speed and only loud when you want it to be.

Sounds great, no drone which is nice in long trips. Super easy install, one of the pipes was slightly dented, but it’s covered under a coupling. Beware that it will come in two separate boxes. One box was delayed, so timing was not perfect. All in all great choice, wife loves them and just what she was looking for.

They seem like a good company. They actually called me before shipping the product to confirm that it would fit my vehicle. Unfortunately, the product itself is disappointing, and I won’t be keeping it.

I'm happy to support a company where I lived in Lancaster, CA and it's cool to have something that I use everyday from the area. It really does look fantastic and the quality and workmanship is top notch. I was seriously disappointed in the shipment. I don't understand how the box could have come apart but when I received it the box was strapped together and it was torn apart. The pipe on the muffler was out of round from where it was obviously dropped. There's also some light scratching on the black finish on the exhaust tips. Given the cost of the system I the failure of the packaging was very upsetting. The cold start is very loud and generally just too loud for me. Once the idle drops and the engine switches to port injection it has a very good sounding rumble that is pretty quiet. There's a bit of drone under load at low RPMs which is really the only time you get that. High load and higher RPMs you get a great exhaust note. The new 2025+ MPC ecoboost has a deeper sound than the earlier ecoboosts that could sound harsh and raspy. Finally if you're on the highway or easy on the throttle cruising around there is no done at all and I'm very happy with how it sounds.
