When I installed the first version of the 2025+ exhaust I was very impressed with the fit and quality of the parts. The sound outside the truck was very good, not raspy or popping like some 4 cyl exhausts are. Most of the sound inside the truck was good also, there was just a little too much resonance at part throttle between about 1650 and 1950 rpm, where my truck spends a lot of time around town. When I heard about the newer design rear section I decided to try it. I'm so glad I did!! This exhaust is now exactly what I was looking for, a nice lower tone that's not annoying at low or part throttle - but still gives a great performance sound when you're having a little fun :) I've read where some people mentioned loss of ground clearance, but that doesn't appear to be an issue on my truck. Kudos to Thermal R&D for the redesign and taking care of the customer.

Recently purchased the 2. 5” w/ black tips for my 2026 Explorer ST. The sound is perfect, and really make the ST a totally different car! Took just over 2 1/2 hrs to install in my driveway. Highly recommend to anyone looking for that exhaust sound!

Had to wait a few weeks but they emailed an explanation of the delay and offered to talk in person if needed. Understandable when ordering a specific aftermarket product. Although, I would suggest some up front warning of delays on the website at the time of purchase.
