Very comfortable & love the look. However, the smooth sole is kind of slick on some floors, I. e. , polished concrete. I just wore them for the first time & discovered that.

I purchased these for a 2 week vacation and carried them as my only pair of shoes for the trip. It took me some time to get used to the structure of the shoes, but they were very comfortable throughout and I was able to walk 15-20K steps each day in them. The zips make them very easy to take off/put on.

Your shoes are comfortable but you should have half sizes

The only shoes I buy now are Taos. They fit, are comfortable and on trend. Have never had to return shoes so can't comment on that. Come packaged in a rigid box to keep them safe on their teavel to my home. The selection is good, for my needs anyway.

Great customer service! First pair I ordered were a perfect fit meaning 1 foot came right to the tip so thought I’d better try the next size up and compare!! Apparently my feet are growing as I mature! 😆

I ordered a pair Banter leather flats, hoping to wear them on a trip. Unfortunately sizing across Taos shoes varies widely. Last fall I bought a pair of mini-crave boots in size 40 (a women's 9) and they were just a bit too large and my foot would slip when I walked downhill. I could always wear an 8. 5 in a sandal, so when I ordered the Banter's, I ordered a size 8. 5 (or EU 39). They fit, but are way too tight across my toes to the point of causing red marks across the top of my toes after less than 2 minutes on my feet. I have a narrow foot, so this was really surprising. I would have to size up and risk having the heel rub just to get room across the metatarsal area. I didn't purchase the free return thinking these would fit, and I don't have time to exchange before my trip. So disappointed as I love my taos sandals and boots.

Unfortunately took my new pair of sandals on my trip to Paris which I had bought them specifically for after hearing such good things about them. My heel keeps going outward. It matter how much I do with the adjustable straps making them uncomfortable to wear for long walks. Has this been an issue. Would the ones with the ankle strap that look similar have been better?
