these sandals are super comfy right out of the box. I especially like the attention to detail, the padded back strap and ergo footbed. This is my first pair of Taos and it will most likely lead me to purchase another. My usual sandal is Birkenstock for support, width and support. I wanted something a bit sassier with my skirts but still walk a mile in them.
