I took advantage of the “Archive Sale” and added some penny loafers to my shoe collection. Did I need them? Don’t ask. The price was too good to pass up.

I took advantage of a sale and purchased two pairs of shoes from TAFT: the Sterling Loafer in Black Croc and the Rome boots in Old Brown. Unfortunately, my first experience with the brand was very disappointing. The package arrived one day later than expected, but that honestly wasn’t a big deal. My biggest issue was with the Rome boots. They looked like they had already been tried on by someone else. The laces were loose, there were no protective inserts inside the boots, the inside of the box was dirty, and the overall presentation was poor. Even if these were purchased on sale, I don’t think that’s acceptable for a brand in this price range. When I tried the boots on, I immediately felt something sharp inside one of them. I pulled the tongue forward to inspect it and found that one of the metal studs was sticking up. Now I have to figure out how to fix a defect that should never have made it through quality control. The Sterling loafers arrived in much better condition, but the sizing was completely off. I ordered my usual size 11, the same size as other loafers I own, and I couldn’t even get them on properly. They were nowhere near true to size. This was my first purchase from TAFT, and it will also be my last. I’m leaving this review for anyone considering buying from them so they know what my experience was like.

You replaced a shoe that was stolen by the delivery service I highly recommend you switch to a better carrier. But I had a great experience with Taft it was a bit difficult trying to find a way to get in touch to have my shoes replaced. But very happy with the shoes Thanks

The pattern is well crafted and thought out for these boots! There is a great, urban expression in this pattern. The pattern makes moves through denim a joy! At this point, each wear generates an admirer at some point in time. These boots are also all-day comfortable with the cushion insole. I honestly, don't want to wear them too long - I don't wear my soles down too soon (Lol).

The socks are great but, TAFT taking all of their shoes that were less than size 8, was not a good move. I must own pretty much all of their very painful and pretty to wear shoes. Is such a turnoff when companies take away from those that could benefit from their painful shoes because they a smaller. No choice. Those shoes need to be stretched for days if not weeks. Just the fact that I was willing to wear painful shoes just because they had my size was more than enough for me to deal with, then they get rid of the small sizes for everyone. And just to think we supported a company that left us behind. All we can do now is buy socks. Oh! Well, no hate here, just frustration. If you have size 8 and up, this is your place to buy very pretty and hard to break into shoes. They are very pretty but painful like you won't believe. Wear them at home for days or weeks before you even attempt to go out with them on the first time. I still have most shoes in boxes because it takes too long to stretch them, but I dealt with them cus they are pretty. I guess they will sit in my closet for ever. And just a reminder not to buy as many shoes from TAFT as I bought, so that the next year or so they decided to go a different route. We all Thank you for your choices TAFT. Great move. Looks great, excellent quality. normally wear a size 11 but had to order 12. Nonetheless fits great.

I bought these shoes for a wedding. They were incredible. They arrived on time and in a nice box. They felt amazing on my feet. I constantly recieved compliments on the shoes the whole day! Last but not least I was even able to dance in them comfortably. 5 out of 5!

Taft isn't what they used to be-five (documented) communications asking for help. Zero responses. I would have taken bad customer service. Taft is awful. Long time customer too. Never again.

Hello. I purchased these beautiful comfortable shoes for everyday wear. The leather is high quality, shoe fit is true to size, delivery of my shipment was on time. Notification throughout the delivery process. Price was reasonable. I would recommend this shoe, as I have purchased in black pair at the store and ordered brown online. If you purchase this shoe you will not be disappointed at all. Go get you a pair or two. Oh yeah! The packaging was on point. Included shoe bag covers, shoe horn and display box for holding the shoe box. Real packaging quality. Please make other colors available in size 10 for me. Lol

I placed an order for shoes on expedited delivery as I was visiting the US for a week. Even after multiple follow ups, the shoes were never shipped to me. Now that I’ve left, I’m going to have to cancel the order. As a true supporter of Taft with 3 pairs of shoes from the brand, I’m very disappointed with the experience.
