I purchased the flat top for my stove over a year ago. I wanted to put it through its paces before I left a review. I have cooked everything on this. Fried rice, hibachi steak chicken and veritable, Fajitas (both steak and chicken), pancakes, eggs, fish, smash burgers, and many more things! If properly taken care of (reseasoning). Nothing will stick to it! Heat retention is great. Even cooking (with some practice on burner settings) every time. I also bought the cutting board. Proper care must be observed with it. I only cut on one side so the show side will look great every time. I can't say enough great things about these products. I only have one complaint. I bought the heat shield and it didn't work well with my stove. I was fully refunded the cost of it. Unfortunately my stove has take some heat damage. With that being said I still use it and will continue to do so even if I eventually have to buy a new stove. It's just too convenient and a great product!

They keep removing my review. How convenient. The flat top didn't work well with my stove, and now I can't return it "because I used it. " How would I know if I like it or not or if it works well or not without using it?? They cite "for health and safety purposes it can't be returned" which is just a copout so they can keep your money. Zero stars, but I gave it 5 in hopes my review will actually be published

Although I cannot speak on the product itself I figured that a review was in order regarding the team at Steelmade. I purchased a flat top and tools for a Father’s Day present and due to my location the shipping and additional fees were quite hefty. A team member reached out personally to see how I wanted to move forward. When we landed on a cancellation of the order the employee remained completely professional and immensely helpful. It was incredibly refreshing to have an actual person reach out and not an automated message. You can tell that the company cares for its customers. If you live somewhere with reasonable shipping cost I could not recommend this company enough!

Coming back to update where I ordered the slim pro for a friend's wedding gift after loving our full size pro. They love it! Cannot recommend steelmade griddles enough for indoor cooking!

My dad is OBSESSED with his grill and uses it all four seasons in PA. So what better way to support that but with a steel made grill top. It was such a hit that I’m getting one for my husband this Father’s Day! Can’t wait for him to use it!

Got the Pro series and love cooking on it! Tried Philly cheesesteaks, fried rice, grilled cheese sandwiches, and a tricky marinated sea bass. All were delicious and fun to cook! I even liked the seasoning process. I have enjoyed the griddle so much I just purchased two more as gifts for friends. I know they will like it as much as I have. Thanks for a terrific product!

Overall good product but drip tray below the surface has limited capacity if you want to cook a package of bacon Overflow of bacon grease is a fire hazard. Just need to make a larger capacity drip tray.

I recently got my pro series steelmade and im loving it. I have had a small griddle and was tired of chasing bits as they flung everywhere. Not with my pro series. So happy and the family is too!! The best part is i didn’t think i would own a griddle since i have no yard. This turns my stove into a amazing cooking station.

The wait for a custom flat top for my ceramic cook top was worth every minute!! First meal was steak and cheese with hand cut fries - HUGE SUCCESS!!! I love it and I’m having so much fun experimenting with meals. The cutting board is a piece of art, simply beautiful. All items were thoughtfully packaged which demonstrates the quality and client care this company has. Thank you Steelmade team!!

I normally don't write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience. I got the Pro Flat top for father's day 2023 and really enjoyed cooking with it during the first BBQ season. Its an incredible well made product and built like a tank. I seasoned it before use and methodically cleaned it after each use. Really enjoyed cooking great meals all summer. When summer was over, I again cleaned, seasoned and stored in the included pouch and placed under my grill in an fully enclosed drawer. Next season I removed it from the storage pouch and was so disappointed to find so much deep rust in both sides. I probably should have stored this indoors, but needless to say, I'm not a happy griller. It's a well made product that performs very well when cooking, but please ensure you store it off-season indoors. I'm giving four stars because it did perform very well first season, but based on my negative experience, i cannot give five stars. Perhaps if I had stored it indoors, I may not be leaving this feedback.

Received my flattop today and got cooking on it right away. Using it on my GMG Daniel Boone and it is a grill changer. I don't do long slow smokes, and do mostly steak, ground beef, eggs and bacon. So if I wasn't doing a burger or a steak it wasn't used. Now I can cook everything I eat on it without the grease splatter mess to clean up inside, and the cooked meat smell my family dislikes. I wasn't sure how will it would work on a pellet grill and if it would take forever to heat up, but I am happy to say it worked perfectly. It also gave me a far more even cooking surface, where with the grates there has always been major differences in hot and cold spots no matter when I put the heat shield. Considering one for the gas stove inside it worked so well. Thanks for the great product!

Life saver! This is helped me in so many ways

After doing some research online I decided to purchase the Original Standard flat Top Grill from Steelmade , & happy I did !!!! It was delivered on time on a recent Saturday afternoon. The following day I decided to have my neighbors over and with my family I made smashburgers with onions and applewood bacon. I followed the directions on how to clean it before using it for the first time, and how to get it seasoned for the first time, I did this well before I started cooking. Once I started cooking I tossed some lard on the grill, and then the onions, the sizzle of the onions was great, then the bacon, and finally the burgers !!!! Food cooks fairly quickly, I suggest paying attention. Well the grill and the food were a complete success all 8 of us loved it !!!!

We ordered A PRO SERIES FLAT TOP FOR OUTDOOR GRILL. It is a well-made heavy-duty grill, and it came preseason. It fits just right in our gas grill. I am so excited about it, my grilling outside is going to be serval notches above now! I am so pleased with the sales team. If you have questions, they know the answers and help in every way to make you happy with your selection. The arrival of our grill was just as they said it would be. The quality of the grill is perfect. The greatest part of it is, it is American made in the USA.

After purchasing several of the smaller cheaper inserts, I have finally found the perfect fit for my grill. I can cook entire meals without worry from flareups, or my food falling through the grates.Fits perfectly and easy to maintain.

Bought as a gift for my husband. He had to minor notes: the lip at the front could be bent up slightly higher, and the drainage holes might benefit from being chamfered. Otherwise he is very happy and making a big breakfast for the family as I type.

THIS COMPANY HAS 1 STAR ON BBB AND THEY WILL NOT SHOW ANY REVIEWS THAT ARE NOT 5 STARS.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ... I HAD TO PLACE A 5 STAR REVIEW JUST TO GET THIS MESSAGE TO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OUT 1. The griddle was short on my stove, so the flame from the stove would rise above the front of the griddle because the heat and grease attract. 2. The Grease Trap is right next to a middle burner which has a constant flare up no matter how you rotate the griddle. 3. If you have any teenagers that would try to cook on this thing, it can cause a grease fire in your home, it's completely unsafe. 3. The 30 day warranty is only for an unused product as soon as you use it, no matter what's the issue you basically wasted your money. I'm pro America that's why I decided to buy from an American MAde Company, but I should have went to Amazon and Purchased a China Made Griddle with the grease trap dip in the front, The China Made Items will atleast give you a real 30 day warranty. This company not standing by their products should tell you everything you need to know before you decide to purchase.  I made the mistake and I'm trying to help others from wasting money. I have pictures to show you what I'm trying to describe, but I don't know how to post them. So You will see this same review on Yelp on Google and a Short on Youtube where I can show you better than I can tell you. Lastly, I contacted the company about the issues and they basically said turn the heat down and tough luck but our refund policy is our policy, luckily it was just $133 I wasted, so I'm trying to save you time and money ..
