Siendo completamente honestos, compramos esta
Siendo completamente honestos, compramos esta silla porque, en el trabajo, llevo años usando una de sus sillas con total satisfacción, y confiaba en que sería la solución perfecta para las largas horas de estudio de mi hijo, pero desafortunadamente este modelo no nos acaba de convencer. El asiento es un poco duro y tras varias horas puede llegar a ser incomodo, y el respaldo, al no poder ajustarse a una posición fija, esto entiendo que fue un error nuestro al leer las especificaciones, acaba cansando la espalda para intentar mantener la posición. En conclusión, no cabe duda que son una marca excelente, pero en este caso no atinamos con el producto.

Considering the product itself, I will give it an overall 4. 5 rating: - Solid 5 for quality and build. I can really feel that it was made to last for a long time. - 4. 5 for comfort. I can work in this chair for 8 hours without problem. The cushion could be better but I'm not sure if that would improve if I bought the more expensive models. At the end of the day, I'm using it as an office chair, so I think it's comfortable enough for the purpose that I am using it. - 4. 5 for value for money. As I've mentioned, since the quality and build is really sturdy, you will probably be using this chair for a long time. So the hefty price tag upfront may be worth it (including the warranty it comes with) My only complaint is the delivery as I've had rescheduling without advise (would have been a headache if I were not working from home). This may be outside of Steelcase's control but I think Steelcase should wisely choose their logistic partner as the delivery of their product is part of the "experience".

No estoy contento porque al no poder ajustar la altura del respaldo, me queda la curvatura del mismo presionándome la espalda de forma que es muy incómodo. En la please II esta parte era mucho más flexible. Así que en esencia no puedo usar la silla.

One crucual piece of an order was…
One crucual piece of an order was missing which resulted in overall waiting time of 2 months before I will get to use my chair. I would’ve given 1 start, but bumping it to 3 because I got a partial refund

Great product, communication not so much
Great product, communication not so much. I am really happy with the chair I bought at steelcase. The customer experience from ordering till arrival, however, was not great. I fully expected that the delivery of my order would take a while, that was clear from the moment i ordered on the site. The communication about the different steps in the production and logistics process was completely insufficient. I received a message saying my order was shipped a day after ordering, which could not be the case since the product would be "custom made for me". After that, complete silence untill a couple of weeks after that. that message only contained a title saying i should be a littel more patient. 2 weeks later i contacted steelcase myself, not knowing the current status, and a day after that i got contacted by the delivery company. This is something that i think can be and should be improved.

I placed an order on October 23rd, the estimated delivery date was indicated to be “as stated in the website”, which was up to 3 weeks. A month has passed, I had to contact myself support to ask when my order would be delivered. They indicate me between 18-19 November. It was not delivered and I received no contact from them or the courier. It is astounding a premium product has this support. After reading here other experiences I am considering cancelling my order, this is not going to end well. Update: the order was further delayed, however it was finally delivered. The product itself is very good, but I can't give 5 starts when the delivery has no tracking, takes a month and a half, there are no clear deadlines when ordering, and once they give you a date it is not respected. Furthermore, it doesn't say it anywhere but without lift they won't deliver the product to your door.

After a month of back-and-forth, I finally agreed to pick up the chair from the truck, and we scheduled delivery for October 28th. I even took a day off work to be available. However, on that day, the delivery company called, asking me to prepare my chair for pickup, mistakenly thinking I was returning it instead of waiting for its initial delivery. Frustrated, I contacted Steelcase again, and we rescheduled for November 5th. Today, November 4th, I was informed that the delivery had been postponed once more to November 8th. I genuinely appreciate Steelcase's products, but until they address these issues with their delivery partner, I will not consider future purchases. Their support team has tried to assist, but communication has been slow, and ultimately, they’ve been unable to effectively manage this delivery company. If you want to avoid waiting months for a product, I would strongly advise reconsidering any purchase from Steelcase.

They chose to partner with the worst courrier I have ever encountered. They send you an SMS that your delivery can be planned with a link that doesn’t work. Then you have to call them by yourselves and the answer you get is “yeahh maybe we can deliver next week, but probably not”. I then asked Steelcase to cancel and refund my order, which they did very quickly. Unfortunately, the delivery company never seemed to understand the cancellation because they came to my doorstep 3 times and sent me an SMS every day to “pick up my return”. I have nothing to pick up because it was never delivered in the first place. I understand that this is not Steelcase’s doing, but they are the ones that chose to partner with this delivery company so they are in my opinion still responsible for it.

Seat Height Issue with Gesture Chair
The Gesture chair is generally well-made and comfortable, but I encountered a problem with the seat height. The specifications state that the lowest seat height is 415 mm, but the chair does not adjust below 530 mm. This discrepancy significantly affects my comfort level, as I was relying on the specified adjustability. Other than this height issue, squeaking noises started after a while. The incorrect seat height as listed in the specs has made it so difficult for me to use the chair comfortably. -------------- Update: Returns have been accepted, and the refund process is complete. The support I’ve received has been outstanding, from customer service to brand assistance with their products. As a result, I’ve decided to update my rating.

The order was placed on August 25. 3 weeks was estimated delivery (Netherlands). The message was sent to phone to make an appointment. Only possibility for delivery was 3rd October which was 5 weeks plus from purchase date. It didn't bother me that much. I chose 3rd October. But I got a call that they will deliver earlier on 10th September. Reservation was made but no one showed up. A new appointment was made for 17th of September. No one showed up again. So I cancelled the order. The refund was done within 2 days which is why I gave 3 stars. After all that on 3rd of October orginal appointment date of system their delivery carrier showed up with chair even when order was cancelled. I refused the delivery. It's better to buy from one of their known dealer than steelcase them selves. Chairs are fantastic but Steelcase really need to fix personal order delivery system which is bad since 2 years of reviews I see here.

The carrier could never managed to deliver my product in the Netherlands. So I requested a refund and got the money back in two days.
