Finding the right rose bush and purchasing is top service!
I ordered a blue bird rose of sharon hibiscus from Spring Hill and according to the online picture I should have come potted. Instead it was bare root and a twig snapped when bent. It's been in the ground a month and shows no growth. My complaint got me a gift card covering my cost, money lost to me since I will never buy from Spring Hill again. By the way, a rose of sharon I bought locally and planted 12 feet from the twig is showing new growth. I wanted the plant from S/H to fit my landscaping plan.
I so appreciate the fact that I know when my desired plants ship as it truly makes my shopping easier. I truly enjoy shopping by season . Springhill Nursery makes gardening so easy by telling me when and how to plant, where to plant, whene to prune.

It is hard to choose a rosebush without seeing it and smelling its fragrance. You provided enough information to help me make my choice. I hope it was a good one.
The website tricks you into subscribing to get free shipping, but you only get a discount OR free shipping. It's deceitful, and not OK in my book.
I ordered two butterfly plants with a gift card that was given to my by my Mom for mother's Day. One of the plants was shipped and was obviously dead. And they shipped very late into the fall. I planted both plants, and neither of them has returned this spring. I was very disappointed in the response from Spring Hill. They did not issue a replacement for the shipped dead plant. Their partial refund and was very hard to use and I eventually just gave up trying to deal with the process. I will never order from this business again, and I will warn all my Gardner friends to stear clear. Bad products and worse customer service.

Ordered from two different nurseries the nursery I used after this one order came in a month ago. When I followed up w Spring Hill they could not find my order had to spend time finding order details from months ago then call back again. Suddenly order was on its way. Still not received it not sure even the plant condition at this point but not so hopeful considering the ordering process is terrible. The other nursery showed me it does not have to be this way.
I could've saved myself $700+ for the 2 trees that I purchased & didn't get the almost $400 one & received a puny 2 ft example of the other one. No response from emails & call to customer service resulted in a bunch of jaw boning, but no replacement tree or refund. Never do business with this company. I'm going to proceed forget on my end in every fashion I can. . . this is just wrong!!

Ordered $179 worth and was still charged for shipping. Supposed to be free.
I purchased a 5-6 ft tree for almost 300. 00 & revived a dad looking 2 ft twig of a tree, which I could've gotten for much cheaper. I've emailed, sent pics & discussed this with their customer service. . . but to no avail. I feel like they don't care about their customers or providing the product they offer. Plus, there was another issue with the other tree I ordered as well.

I like that fact the Spring hill gave plants a good description of care and planting instruction . It took my awhile to sort through want I wanted.
I ordered the last two years with zero issues. This year…what a cluster. One half my order arrived, with the news my other half would arrive approximately 2 weeks later. I waited. No communication, no plants. Finally called, talked to a young woman who couldn’t locate me or my order. Disconnected twice. Called back, she finally located the information, telling me my honeysuckle was back ordered, gave me an expected delivery date. Waited. Still no plants. No communication. Called again on 5-14-26, only to be told the delivery date could be extended into June. Ummm…no. The plants would burn up in the Oklahoma sun before being safely established. Requested a refund. Also ordered 4 hardy Midnight Marvel Hibiscus, with only two producing any shoots. I hope the other two finally come out. What happened to your normally exceptional service and communication?? So disappointed.
It was very easy to choose the items I wanted with thorough descriptions provided and good pictures of the plant and what it looks like when it arrives. It was easy to check out as well. I’ve ordered from Springhill before and had great success with the plants I’ve ordered.
