Solar town did a great job. Product arrived before they said it would. Shipper was ask to notify me before the delivery. That did not happen. Product was left at a place of business but everything worked out ok.

I had an issue with getting a replacement Maxxair Deluxe fan from the manufacturer that was under warranty, that I originally purchased from Solar Town. My trip was in one week and the fan was going to take 2 - 3 weeks to arrive from Maxx air. I called Solar Town and Michelle went above and beyond to try and get a fan to me quickly by working with Maxx air, not something they normally do. Karma must have been with me because Maxx air decided to expedite shipping (something they don't do,) so I would have the fan in time. I was so impressed that Solar Town was willing to help me, even though the warranty was not their issue.

Better price and faster shipping than the two big box home improvement stores. Since I found SolarTown on Google, I had to check that they were legit, and they obviously were. Ordered my skylight late on Monday night, had it delivered well packaged to my door Friday afternoon. The driver forgot to pick up the flashing kit from the warehouse, but after a call to their customer support, I had it delivered three days later. Overall quick and efficient service. It's a niche line of products that people don't buy too often, but if I'm ever after anything solar again, SolarTown will definitely be my first choice.

Please if you are on edge about ordering. Do me a favor and order these guys are the best. The selection of skylights is off the chain. And the website is as well I never write reviews but I had to let you guys know

My review is in 2 parts. First part order #37547 is the flashing was dented and damaged. I have photos to show it. Second part order #37540 Skylight did not come with screws. . why the heck not? 3 stores later. When the 2 packages were delivered there was only one person to take off the truck. The driver pulled out the skylight then proceeded to tip it out of the truck. . . to who I don't know, but I saw the box was opened and not sealed and the skylight was coming out of the box. I immediately told him,he was like oh. . . I am supposed to have another person to help and I should be using the lift. . :woman-facepalming: Anyway, I had him acknowledge on the delivery sheet the box was open. And it also states 2 people for delivery and to use a lift. Today July 2, 2025 the skylight is being installed, it seems fine other than the screw issue. I would like a response. Thank you!

So far so good. The new skylight is beautiful. But the delivery was a nightmare. It was simply dumped on the sidewalk outside my home in downtown DC. Nobody even bothered to ring my doorbell. The box was in terrible condition. How was I supposed to get it in by myself?

3 Velux Skylights arrived in perfect condition and well-within the stated ship time (3-5 days. ) SolarTown saved the day for our new roof installation, when our local box stores were out of stock in the size wee needed, and the only alternatives were much higher in price +/or backordered for 2 weeks.
