Solar town was great from start to finish. Good service and good product.

Both operator knobs were not completely installed so that had to be done before i could open them and of course no tool was supplied for that. I do like the installed shade feature and operator, very nice. I also purchased the extended handle to open them from the floor. That is fairly pricey though.

Instructions could be updated to match what the assy. steps are. . . TSR 010. . I had to modify the upper and the lower elbows to fit my application. . . Pre assembly, the total length from the Flashing with upper elbow and defuser and lower elbow is 25 inches. I needed 20 inches. . I cut off 1 1/2 inches off each end of the elbows, using a crimping tool ( used in HVAC work) I crimped one end and assembled every thing thru the roof. . . , marked inside with a Sharpie, removed from roof and only needed to tape one seam. . . Installing the outside dome is a bear, the dome does not slide over the foam with out starting to tear the foam. . I sprayed Windex onto the foam and the dome slid on with NO problem. looks great inside and out. . I installed on a PBR metal roof, I used RV self leveling roof sealent ( Dicor Products) on the flashing to roof . . I have been doing custom dryer venting install work for 20 years and a few RV roof repairs, so I had no problems doing this install with the modifications ( and having the correct tools). . . . But the most important thing that should be included in the install instructions should be to use Windex to install the dome. . . . For some reason, it has to be the Windex brand. . I also do appliance installs, I spray Windex on the floors and the appliance moves almost as if it is on ice. .

I used my model number of our window on the site to search for the correct handle, but the handle is wrong and the restocking fee is an exorbitant price. Buyer beware!

The prep and installation went very smoothly. When I had a question, I was able to clarify the process with the instructions. I am getting a new roof so this improvement needed to happen now. Easy to use web page once I called to understand the lingo for the 4 x 4 skylight which I wanted to order!

Not as great as our original skylight remote. The original was more user friendly.

The orientation/rotation of the blind is incorrect. I had no idea that I had to consider this. Return shipping is approximately $500. 00 with. $211. 50 restocking fee.
