It took me 4 months to get comfortable enough to go anywhere on skis. And even then I couldn’t keep up with friends that had been skiing their whole lives. It took me 4 mins on a Sno-Go and my friends can’t keep up with me. I absolutely love my Sno-Go, and if there were any complaints I had at all, it would be that they are not allowed at every resort. I will refuse to go anywhere to ski if I can’t ride my Sno-Go. Looking at you Brundage in McCall Idaho! You too Sun Valley! Come on!
I’ve been a snowboarder since high school, but years away from Utah and mounds of student loans kept me off the slopes for too long. By the time I was able to get back on a snowboard I wasn’t very excited about it because I knew it would mean leaving the slopes exhausted and, more than likely, hurt. When my husband brought home a Snogo I took one look at it and said heck to the no. It looked big and heavy and like something I would for sure kill myself on. I was wrong. He finally convinced me out and I’m happy to admit there’s no going back. It was incredibly easy to pick up (hitting jumps by the end of day one) and I felt totally fresh after a full day of riding. Loading on the chair lifts looked intimidating, but it was easier and more comfortable than doing it on a snowboard. I can go faster and get bigger air than I ever felt comfortable doing before. Tree runs are a blast and crummy snow conditions don’t even matter. Now I spend my time trying to convince everyone I know to give Snogo a shot. We’ve had grandparents on them who haven’t skied in 20 years and others who have only skied a handful of times before. All have picked it up in a day and had an absolute blast. Seriously the best thing we’ve discovered in a long time.
This will be my third season with a SnoGo and I have just bought a second one for my wife for this season (2019/2020). In my younger days I was a keen skier but a combination of age, dodgy knees and hips, back and a crooked ankle mean I can no longer ski. I took up Brenter Ski Bikes and while I was delighted to be back on the piste I soon found I was struggling with my knees on the more difficult slopes. SnoGo didn’t have much of a presence in Europe at that time but I took a chance, eventually managed to get hold of one and had the best season ever. Even a complete newcomer to winter sports will find these so easy to ride and will be enjoying the piste after just a short introduction. I live in the Austrian Alps where Ski Bikes have been around since 1947. As a result they are widely accepted and I have had no issues using any of the lift types in my region of Schladming Dachstein. Lift operators seeing my SnoGo for the first time are just amazed at how easy they are to load and unload on our chair lifts. The only downside is that the SnoGo has to be lifted over most of our turn styles and loading gates governing the lifts. This could be an issue for some. I ride blue, red and the odd black run without a second thought. I also like to ride off piste in powder but the current skis fitted aren’t ideal for deep powder. Don’t be under any illusion that SnoGos are only for the old and disable. I ski with regular experienced skiers and have no trouble being part of the group. Some have even expressed a desire to get one themselves. I also run a small Bed & Breakfast establishment and guests are always badgering me to have a go, even non skiers. Without exception they have all got to grips with it in a very short time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. If you want to experience the slopes but for whatever reason cannot ski or snowboard then a SnoGo could be your answer. If you get the opportunity give one a go, you will not be disappointed.
I have skied for over 50 years, Ski, snowboard, Trikke-ski and the Sno-Go..I have two. The safety of the SnoGo compared to skiing can not be overstated. The benefit of Snowboard boot not in bindings prevents the transfer of stress to the lower extremities, preventing fatigue and injuries. This is the Geriatric Ski Machine...sorry folks were all getting older, and the Sno-Go has definitely prolonged my skiing career. I have modified both SnoGo's in height adjustments for better posture for folks six feet plus...and replaced all hollow bolts with solid...yes it's a little heavier, but my experience with aircraft make me error on the side of safety not weight.
I love skiing but after 3 knee surgeries it was about time to call it quits. Then I saw the Snogo on Facebook I did some research and I ordered one . I was amazed at how easy it was to ride after two runs on the beginner trail I had it down and was riding the Blue trails. I am so happy with my Snogo it will keep me on the mountain a lot longer.
The FUN factor is off the charts!! The learning curve is SHORT...as in REAL short! Easy loading & unloading, eliminates stress & adds to the fun. Not just for beginners & intermediates, this beast will bust through the crud , destroy bumps, & RIP some sick high speed carves😁👍.
Did a demo at Gunstock. Teacher was patient and supportive. Used to be an avid skier, but hadn’t skiied in 22 years due to almost losing my leg in an accident, following by many complications. Went back to rent a SnoGo several times - it was pure unalloyed joy to be back on the slopes! Probably had a manic grin on my face :-} Was able to eventually get on the blue trails, which felt awesome! I love the way the bike articulation enforces perfectly carved turns! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for enabling this disabled person to get back on the mountain!!!
I stated skiing again with my oldest daughter 3 yrs ago......last year I bought my sno-go as my way of being able to keep up with my daughters learning curve skis......I tried skiing again........then tried snowboarding, it just wasn't fun for me to fall and her have to stop and wait for me all day. I love everything about this bike and has been a big head turner and talk on my local hill everytime I go. Loading and unloading is simple and riding is a breeze.
All I can say is wow! What an experience and a joy to ride. The Sno-Go helped me accomplish my mission of getting back on the mountain carving up the slopes after an unexpected 12 yr hiatus. I lost my leg above the knee due to Cancer and with it the ability to carve up that fresh snow I so very much loved to do. After doing some research online in my quest to get back on the slopes I came across the Sno-Go. I watched every video I could find to study and determine if I thought it was possible to ski with my Prostetic knee on. So I reached out to Dave Beerman at Latitude Sports and asked if it was possible to ride the Sno-Go with my Prostetic. He responded with a resounding yes and he was willing to help me get back on the slopes by working with me and giving me lessons on the Sno-Go. We met up at Winter Park where Dave did a great job of going over everything on the Sno-Go and walking me through the riding stance as well as loading and unloading from the chairlifts. After a quick intro we were off on the lift and heading toward some beginner runs. Dave demoed the turning mechanics as well as stopping. At this point I got to try some small turns and to my surprise it was more like skiing than I even imagined and in a way I thought it was easier than learning to ski with traditional gear. Within a couple runs down some greens I felt very confident in my ability on the Sno-Go and wanted to challenge myself by stepping up to some blues. This was not a problem with my Prostetic and the Sno-Go. In fact later that day I was able to meet up with my buddies and ski right along side them which was a great feeling. I had a strong feeling the Sno-Go was going to help me ski again and that I would finally get back to enjoying it. I never could have imagined it being so easy to get back on the Slopes and Dave helped me accomplish my goal along with the Sno-Go. Thanks Dave this has truly changed my life.
54 years old and never skied in her life. Practise sessions in the lounge standing on the Sno-go, sorted ready for slopes. It was a success.Within the hour her confidence building more and more. We had a great experience. No accidents , no bruising. Smiles all round.
SnoGo is the most fun ever you can have on the Mountain and I'm so glad more and more mountains, like Powder Mountain, are allowing SnoGos! We introduced SnoGos to our ski participants last season and based on their smiles and amazement of fun and easy SnoGos really are, and for even complete beginners who have never skied, we knew this would be such a huge hit, we purchased 8 of them to use for free for those who enroll in our week-long SnoGo and ski vacation in our amazing Powder Mountain slopeside lodge! All meals, lodging, shuttle to/from SLC airport, and more are all included in this amazing ski and SnoGo vacation! gary@lifeelevatedutah.org
We bought 3 of the red limited edition last year for our family who does not snowboard or ski. Our kids were 9 and 18 and both learned it quickly after a few tries and we were up the mountain before noon with ZERO experience. We are going to get a 4th one this season. The support was outstanding as well, one of the holes for a bolt was not completely drilled and their team quickly overnighted me the part and tool so we can make it to the mountain that weekend. Get one or two, you wont regret it!
I haven't had that much fun on snow since I was 12. I've been getting really sore after skiing lately and my knees need something a little more forgiving. The bike was really much easier to control than I had expected. I can think of quite a few friends who will absolutely love this thing. A+ job guys!
After recovering from multiple serious injuries from a car accident; skiing and snowboarding was no longer enjoyable and lasting a full day up the mountain wasn't happening . Having been a motorbike and mountain bike rider previously, having a go on a sno-bike made sense. After renting and trying, it was an easy decision and I purchased a Snogo. I've never looked back and now enjoy being up the mountain more than ever, I can go as hard or easy as I like and in-fact did more days the past season than I'd done for years.
Without a doubt the most fun I've ever had on the mountain. Easy learning curve as advertised. Buying a second one soon!!
I’ve been riding my SnoGo for 3 seasons this year. I’m 60 now and I love riding with my 17 year old son. We shred Brighton & Sundance Utah. It has given me a new lease on life as far as my skiing goes! So much fun and I can shred places that I won’t even try on skis anymore!
I had been following Sno-Go for about a year before I actually got on one. I tried snowboarding and skiing several times and just couldn’t get it down. I went to the demo day at Sierra-at-Tahoe and my life changed. No longer did I hate winter. By the third run I felt confident and comfortable. So much so that I bought one that day! I can’t say enough good things about this product and company. From the design to the awesome people that made this happen. All around beyond happy with my purchase. Winter is my new favorite season.
Great snow bike good build quality great costumer service too very helpful
Hello! My partner Bruce and I demo-ed (?) the Snow-Go last January in Winter park Colorado. Awesome! I ski, my partner Bruce doesn’t. However, we are avid bicyclists and tried the Snow-Go for the skiing/bicycling experience. Super fun! We wanted to let you know that we are totally sold on the Snow-Go! Eliza
Hi there, I have been on skis since I was 3 years old. At an age of 12 I started experimenting with snowboarding. I really loved boarding from the start and I was every winter multiple weeks in the snow(which was not so easy living in the flat Netherlands). Every year when it started to get winter, I was already really stoked to go on winter vacation with the family to Austria or Swiss. Next to Wintersports I really loved playing soccer. Sadly at a soccer accident at the age of 16 I tore my ACL, inner meniscus and my medial ligament. After getting an hospital infection with the reconstruction operation and tearing my ACL and meniscus again a year after the operation I haven’t been able to ski or snowboard again. So I went on a search for a good alternative to get back on the slopes again. Looking for ski bikes(which were all much to dangerous for my knee) I found the SnoGo!!!! I have to say that the SnoGo really changed my life. From always being alone at the house and listening to the stories from my family how beautiful the weather and snow conditions where. How sick the jumps were en the off piste slopes. To be back on the slopes, enjoying the freedom to ride the SnoGo on and off the slopes and being reunited with the family. And after a whole day of SnoGoing not having troubles with my knee. I couldn’t express how much this means to me and how thankful I am to experience this! So big love to the SnoGo team for designing, selling and renting out such an awesome safe snowbike. And extra big love to Alin from the European SnoGo team, which is an amazing SnoGo instructor and a very good guy Peace and love Benjamin
