I don't mind the PX, when I ordered the Talon was not available. I wish I had waited. The PX is quiet and generated decent spin but I would have preferred to try the Talon

Background: Upgraded from a 4 year old paddletek which at the time was top of the game when I got it. I’ve been using for two weeks. Amazed at the power and accuracy I can get on serves and equally blown away by the feel and control while dinking. The sound is incredible (or lack there of). I could see this becoming industry standard. Another perk I didnt expect , is my shoulder and arm joints hurt a lot less. Must be from less vibration up the arm. I found owl through another player in my league and he smoked me with it. When I got home I ordered one and have not been disappointed. I just need to get a case for it

Talon X1 was built to address several criticisms people had about older OWL models like the CX/CXE (especially the small sweet spot and balance characteristics). Early impressions suggest it does improve in those areas, but because it’s a newer paddle with fewer independent user reviews out there yet, some aspects like maneuverability and edge consistency are still being validated by the community. And i love it

Super fast delivery, quality product. Solid construction, much more POP than any Owl product I have owned in the past! I replace the PXE with the Talon and I am very happy with the performance. I was really starting to burn the faces off quickly with the PXE model but so far I have played quite a bit with the Talon X-1 and there is no sign of wear at all! I play at a brand new facility and the floors are very aggressive which chews up the ball pretty good but the hitting surfaces still look amazing! If I was to say there was one thing that would have made the Talon X-1 perfect would be the same handle shape as the PXE. The Talon has a very round handle, the PXE was more like a Table Tennis paddle (flared/Oval) which really helps me with the forehand and backhand roll shots. Just love the upgrade as it was substantial! Keep up the good work, I love my quiet Paddles, competition hates them!

The Talon X1 is a lot of fun to play with. It swings very nicely and makes it easy to grab and shape the ball. I played with the Silent Storm for ~1 year before getting the Talon, and find the Talon to be a lot less clunky while still sounding soooo much better than traditional pickleball paddles. I would not play pickleball at all if 'quiet' paddles did not exist.

I read the review before purchasing The problem is that the paddle is to heavy for some one 123pounds , 5,3 ´´ I bought 62$ to return and exchange the cost is 90$ si I will just give it away Will never buy with this company again

Got it fast and love the new Owl Talon. If you loved the original this one is better by far. I have been playing with it for a few weeks and takes a bit of adjustment from previous version but it is my new favorite paddle.
