The Anova is is very good. It provides recipes, cook routines and other important information. I would suggest an additional section that covers the theory and practice of using various levels of steam, combinations of top, bottom and rear heat sources and when to use sous vide. Also if the cook routines were editable, that would be helpful.

We have used the Anova Precision Oven for three months now. Overall, it is very easy to use: it has a big display on the handle with intuitive controls. The oven heats up very quickly and all the functions including the humidity control work well. Keep in mind that it can increase the air humidity to the desired level but it cannot lower humidity. Since it is very well sealed, any moisture released by the dish will stay inside which might not be ideal for things like e.g. meringues. For any type of baking/grilling where you want the dish to remain moist inside, it is ideal. Great also for slow cooking at lower temperatures and very precise temperature cooking. Hopefully long term reliability will be as good as the short term.

Entirely satisfied with its performance and ease of use. With sous vide and to create a water bath for both small and large volumes of water (up to something like 45L, seems large for domestic stuff)

The buying experience was awful. I waited way more than expected to received my anova pro cooker. No one answered my messages and no one returned my phone calls. Anova lied about the shipping date. They sent me a confirmation of shipment but only sent the item 2/3 weeks later.

My partner absolutely loves the Anova sous vide and vacuum sealer! He loves the ability to control the sous vide from the app on his phone. Professional, great quality tools that turn ordinary meals into 5 star dinners! I want sous vide meals everyday, now! I AM RUINED! Lol.
