Both hydrangeas were dormant on arrival, the driver took a photo and said - OK, they are alive. Looking at the photos, you can see how few leaves they have and directly in back of the other photo you can see one of the other three that are fully leaved. I have about 18 hydrangeas and 3 of this variety already. Those three were fully leaved when these arrived, so I assumed there were in cold storage or there was something else wrong with them. I planted them in the same are as the other three and as of yesterday they have about 30% of the leaves as the others with some branches having none. However, they are showing life so I'll wait. It's been 35 days since planting.
