I spent hours -- no, days --doing research across the internet and New York looking for a green 8x10 rug to complete my space. This was not an easy task. There are so many shades of green. I initially set out to get a plush rug, but I ended up going with Revival jute due to the price and the color. I am comparing this to plush rugs, as that was what I envisioned initially, but jute was the way to go for me, and I will explain why I am happy with it. To start with the negatives, some the common critiques are valid - which is that it is delivered with folds. I walked over mine and let it lay on a pad, but they are still visible. It is not a big deal at all. I also find the corners like to turn up, but they are easy to lay back down. I feel the edges are the slightest bit uneven, but due to the texture, it truly doesn't matter and I view it as a positive. I also have a massive coffee table on mine which puts pressure on it, and a big lounge chair with cast iron feet that are imprinting the rug - but the jute handles that way better than a plush rug would. But, that is something to be aware of. Those are the negatives. Anyone here reading reviews knows that getting a good rug is a challenge - there is so much trash out there, and there is so much overpriced stuff. Getting a good affordable rug is near impossible. I still think this is a tad overpriced, but it is the best value for money on the market for a rug in 2026, and I mean for that to be high praise. The color is a deep, beautiful, textured moss that looks elegant in the sunlight, it's lighter than it shows online, and actually very similar to the Nordic Knots Moss color but without the sheen - and then becomes calming and ominous dark green, almost black at night. It's truly such a nice weave that seems like it will be durable, and the differences in thickness and height create this amazing texture. The jute sheds but only minimally for me thus far, and I like that it's easy to vacuum when I see little bit...

I've purchased two rugs from Revival and they're both contemporary and colorful as well as super practical for my pets and me.
