Love my Classic 98. Never owned a sub that integrates so well (or as easily) with my rig. Especially using the high-level level input. Seriously, once you have your speakers properly placed and your room set up, setting up your REL will take all of 5 minutes. Just close your eyes and use your ears. I can't see ever buying a different brand of subwoofer.

I bought my first rel in 2005, a modest q108 mk11, which is still going strong despite rarely being turned off, and used a minimum of 2 hours daily. Fantastic. Moved to a larger home and added a similar vintage Stampede to go stereo subbing and loved it. Fantastic. Stampede had some problems and rel support is second to none - truly outstanding how helpful they've been for a 20-25 year old model. They really seem to care. Fantastic. With the Stampede down, I decided to jump on a great deal for a t7x, and am truly blown away with the advances from my humble old timers. The new generation is just incredible- like getting a whole new album collection. Fantastic.

I've only reached out to REL a few times, and have always received a prompt response. I had one warranty issue years ago, it was handled to my total satisfaction. A friend bought REL based upon my referral, he's also 100% content.

The design and sound of this product is extraordinary, alas mine seems to have internally broke so am somewhat disappointed. I have speakers from 80’s still going strong. Such a shame the T5 is a victim of technology failure.

Whenever I deal with REL I find them to be very responsive. Recently I purchase a T9x/SE which seemed as though it hadn't been handled very well by the delivery company. The box was damaged on delivery so I phoned REL to indicate this. Concerningly there was a hole in the side of the box, which could've caused damage to the finish. REL told me to take photos of the box and if there was any damage to call them back so they would arrange a courier to pick up and get a new one out to me. I received a courtesy call the following day from REL to ask how everything was. Luckily the only damage was to the box itself, not the sub. The packaging had done its work! I also got some hints around running the sub in to boot. Many thanks to the staff at REL.

I bought my REL T/5x from the REL store through Amazon on September 7th, 2025. It pairs very well with my Dynaudio Evoke 10 Speakers, that you hear the bass coming from my main Speakers and not the REL. I'm very happy with my REL T/5 x Subwoofer, its probably the most musical Subwoofer on the market today.

Over all, a great device and excellent sound! Now a big problem, with a clumsy solution. . . putting a power amp in bridge mode in my setup, pushed my REL HI-Level (Speakon) Input configuration to a LOW-Level RCA Input one, with a sense of sound downgrade. . . So, feeling some frustration, putting me in a searching of a different subwoofer unit on market, which will be a stupid cost and a unnecessary pain! Any thoughts about it REL?

Very pleased with my REL T/5X that I purchased from the REL Store through Amazon on September 7th, 2025. It integrated nicely with my Dynaudio Evoke 10 Speakers and Yamaha R-N800 Network Reciever. I'm hoping to get 20 or more years out of this REL Subwoofer. I've been keeping it powered up 24/7 as per advise from the REL advisor. It's used only with my 2 Channel Stereo system. Great Subwoofer, glad to own it.
