Great customer service
I was somewhat 'at sea' in setting up my REL subwoofer but the customer support (via email) was excellent. It took a couple of days to get a response but one would come providing answers or suggestions in a patient manner.

Amazing! HT/1003
About this subwoofer about 8 months ago I went through a variety of subwoofers over the last 5 years they were okay and best from the Klipsch reference subwoofer to the Klipsch reference premier subwoofer Sony. . Dayton audio. . and Polk audio and they were okay at best, been Crutchfield knew what kind of Base I was looking for and they talked me into trying this ht1003 subwoofer and at first my expectations were very low because how small it was and then once I got it broken in I was absolutely blown away. It makes music sound absolutely beautiful. I mean just gorgeous how it flows naturally with my Klipsch reference premier speakers. I've got a 5. 1 connected to a Marantz Cinema 70s receiver and it makes music sound. Amazingly now for movies for a small 10-in 34 lb subwoofer my jaw hit the floor when I heard the impact this subwoofer makes. Don't let this little subwoofer For you because you can watch movies like transformers and different war movies and horror flicks and the LFE impact. This thing can do is jaw-dropping and I mean paying right there with my speakers in a living room bed 20 ft by 20 ft. I am 10 ft away from my listing position and this subwoofer makes a big bang. I banged that subwoofers twice this size cannot do bigger subwoofers struggle with to keep up. They can start and stop them and dime. I highly recommend the subwoofers. I don't ever see me using a different brand ever again and I truly mean that they are a company. They focus on subwoofers only and that is a rare thing For those that say oh they don't get down low like SBS which I've heard and I did not like got to remember they do it without DSP. And here's a thing is this subwoofer goes down to 23 HZ and it does every bit of 23 HZ without DSP, I do not see the point in going below 20 HZ anyway, I just can't wrap my head around. Why does it matter to go below 20 HZ but anyways nor here or there then subwoofers highly highly recommended if this 10-in subwoofers can do this kind of Justice...

High level connection to Supernait 3 with REL T5
I enjoy my REL T5 and its worked easily with my Naim nait 5si but not so easily with my Supernait 3. Wasnt satisfied with REL Support suggesting that connecting directly to only 1 speaker is OK . You need to connect to both speakers! Or suggestion that purchasing costly bassline blue cable is an option, or using 2 RELs. I finally found a simple way to connect directly to backnof both speakers using a high level connection.

Very happy
I needed something that was not listed and they found it for me. Not only did they ship it the next day but the price was far less than I thought I would end up paying. These are good people.

Immediate and precise
Immediate and thematically precise support, I had a pleasure. There was an issue with a hum, solved by a zero-cost rca-connector.

First-rate customer service in assisting me with setting up my recently purchased two S/610 subs. Always found REL to be responsive and helpful both when contacting via phone, or using the web enquiry route.

A journey with REL
I’m on my 3rd REL Sub - each one better than the previous. Customer support has been great with any queries that I have had over the journey. I still haven’t tried dual subs, but maybe that’s the next step?

For music, superb.
I have the Model 31's in a stereo pair, heading for an eventual six pack of them. The stereo performance of the 31's made the decision to go the full six pack possible. The REL's unique trait for music, is that the 31's carbon driver is incredibly neutral to the source bass tonation. Part of this is indeed the amps high level input that is "added" so the subs sound match the amp character, but the rest is the subs neutral balance. If the source is warm, bass is too. If the source is lean, the bass is lean. These follow the source splendidly. I highly doubted it but. . . I was wrong. What you do get, is the absolute impact and speed of the source. These are excellent music subs. There are more powerful and cheaper subs out there, true and I had them. But these are designed to be top of the class musically if this is your application. Set-up is amazingly easy with the stereo pair. Set the cross-over about 10 Hz BELOW your mains speakers advertised bass response and turn the level up until you get a nice blend. Lower cross-over and a higher level do seem to work better that the reverse in both my speaker applications. The nifty remote really makes tweaking them easier than running back and fourth with pots on the back. Not a requirement per say but a nice effort for what you pay for them! All that you need is right in your hand. Aiming takes a bit of practice to get one sub or both, but it isn't hard. A sub will follow your mains speaker selection over time, so it is an excellent move to get the best and be done with it. The REL have the ability to MATCH your mains amp character so blending works on any speaker. I use Martin Logan CLX and T+A 1000-40 Solitairs. Two very different speakers. The subs match both perfectly. Few negatives. Yep, big box is required for a 12" air suspension design. The small toggles on the rear need to be recesses FLUSH to protect them from getting dinged moving hundred pound subs. Force equal mass time acceleration and the subs are...
