Im from Michigan and 1 hour away from the closest pet store. Finding superworms is a challenge especially in the winter. Rainbow is the only one that let’s you get extra heat packs and has a winterbox for sale all my worms get to me alive and healthy. Other companies don’t care the boxes don’t even have a sticker saying live animals. Several times I opened up the box with all bugs being dead. Not so with Rainbow they care and have great costumer service. If you want live bugs in the winter use Rainbow 👍👍👍

I've ordered a couple times now from this website since I got back into the hobby. Their prices and quality far surpass that of any chain pet store nearby. Both times I have ordered, all the roaches came in alive, not one dead. I ordered a cup of redworms, which unfortunately didnt make it, but I was promptly offered a refund with excellent customer service. My tree frogs are thriving on their wonderful bugs!

I use them for fishing, and they are nice fat mealworms. Quality packaging also, fast shipping. Very happy

If you’re looking to buy food for your jumping spiders, THIS is the place!’ I placed an order during the government shutdown and even though it was sent 3 day shipping, it took 7 days to arrive. I let the company know and they immediately sprang into action and replaced my order when I didn’t even ask them to. I only wanted to let them know. Companies like this are very rarely found anymore and I couldn’t be happier to be a very happy customer of theirs and will be as long as I need the food they sell. Don’t think twice before ordering from them!

I only use rainbow mealwom for my leopard geckos! They have never let me down and been ordering for many years! Excellent Quality and Care! I have had issues with other companies and dead worms but not Rainbow KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

I rehab wildbirds and had previously been purchasing mealworms from local pet stores or Amazon. I would notice the ones I received were usually half dead or beetles. They were expensive and packages never seemed to contain the number of mealworms they claimed to contain. I started looking for other places and am so glad I found this website. I was pleasantly surprised when my 3000 mealworms came and EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS ALIVE. It also made me realized that when I bought from other places, it was definitely not the amount I thought I was buying. These are cheaper and much better quality. I will be buying my mealworms from here regularly. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! My birds are happy :)

I ordered 100ct of meal worms came a day late but I'm fine with that paid for standard anyway but when I got them I think 12 were out of the container not sure how cus it was closed not rainbows fault tho and my bearded dragon Harley says thanks

Ordered crickets and mealworms Thursday, shipped by UPS on late Friday one day service. Received late Tuesday by UPS. Customer service indicated it’s my fault instead of replacing or giving credit. They should’ve been prompt in shipping earlier knowing of the upcoming holiday.

Placed 2 orders. Half the crickets were dead both times, the cup smelled horrific, the carton inside was almost liquid in some areas, and the crickets that survived the trip all died within two days. Took 5 days to arrive, and they didn't even refund for the shipping I paid that made the crickets die in the first place. Find somewhere that doesn't rip you off for shipping that can get the crickets there faster. Also if you ship crickets and you customer was expecting 200 crickets to last them 2-4 weeks and they only got 5 days worth of food for their pet, you should probably refund them for ALL of the money they paid. I don't recommend this company.

These excellent meal-worms are great in summer, especially to support nesting pairs. This winter in VA, and as mentioned in the VA Bluebird Society and other websites, they are also excellent as a supplement to their winter food. They do well in shipping via USPS and being held at our local post office only adds a day or two the the overall shipping time. (make sure the Post Office/Rainbow Mealworms has a good phone number to let you know the package has arrived) I have found that if you have established a reliable feeding time and place over the summer, the bluebirds will continue to come over the winter as soon as you put out the warmed up and still moving mealworms.
