Love our PRIMA bars but my wife and I both feel the original cacao bar was much nicer with a richer flavor and better texture. The new one is too smooth and bland. Still happy-ish but we loved the previous one and would ration ourselves so as not to overeat. Finding the new bars piling up in the cupboard rather than disappearing rapidly.

Although I appreciate the increase in protein, this new formulation is tasteless

I absolutely love the new formula, not greasy or tacky. The texture is excellent, and on point. I'm so glad they got rid of the agave, which is so inflammatory. The coconut sugar is low G. I. . I really hope one day they have a bar that replaces the honey with a high quality allulose syrup. I am so impressed with the quality ingredients. Prima never uses low quality ingredients (like cheap fillers, grains, corn fiber, or the absolute worst thing ever, chicory root fiber. ) They are expensive bars, but they are worth it. because they are actually real food, not a candy bar pretending to be healthy for you.

Well I was one who really did not care for the original formula. However, this new formula is much better and something to keep in your Protein bar lineup! Less greasy, yet you can still taste the tallow. And those cacao nibs are less of an issue with biting on your teeth which can be a huge issue as they are too hard. This bar was good texture and good balanced flavor. Nathan

I'm sorry. These were my absolutely favorite bars of all-time, and I have tried dozens and dozens of different bars, but the new recipe is not good. The taste is bad and there's a horrible after-taste. I had purchased over a hundred boxes of the cacao flavor which I loved, but the new formulation is simply not for me.

I love the new texture and the increased protien! These are my favorite protein bars, and I love the natural ingredients!
