It's a well made piece. The driftwood color was darker than expected (and more brown with grey than grey with brown). Construction was OK - took 2 1/2 hours by myself for the main bed (another hour for the drawers). A few areas where instructions don't clearly show how the part needs to be oriented - so only once did I need to disassemble and reassemble. Getting the locking screws from the rail into the headboard was a bit tricky and had to prop up the rail to orient properly (I put together a lot of these furniture kits for friends).
