So far, I have enjoyed the two grains I purchased this month, Hard Red and Soft White. I am somewhat new to milling my own grains for baking at home, so I have tried to stick to a single recipe until I am successful before trying other recipes. I have been successful in baking Hard Wheat bread loafs and I love the nutty flavor of the wheat, and I love the idea that it is so much more nutritious that store purchased flour. Last night I did make my first batch of buttermilk biscuits using the soft white and they were delicious and relatively easy to make. I eat beans every day and sometimes twice a day. I ordered the green, red, yellow and black lentils as well as the pinto, kidney, and black beans. All were very fresh, clean and lovely taste. Love the cotton bag they all came in. Great company and will continue ordering from here.
