Customer service was exceptional

I have purchased 3 OWL paddles in total. The first time I purchased one OWL paddle in last July, and I received 3 free pickleballs and the edge guard, but the paddle was not packed in the nice black gift box as it shown on the Website. I purchased two more OWL paddles in last October as the prize for an international tournament. I assumed it would have come with the free pickleball and sunscreen lotion as they shown on the website, but none of them was included. One paddle was packed in a very nice black gift box, but another one was just packed in a regular cardboard. It would look very nice to present one paddle in a nice black gift box to the winner of the tournament, but how about the second paddle? Both paddles are the same price. It is so awful to present another paddle without the nice gift box which makes it looks like the value of the paddle is less than the one in the nice black gift box. I questioned the Customer Support how shipping balls and sunscreen from British Columbia to the Atlantic provinces could involve U. S. customs duties. Three weeks have passed, and I still haven't received a reply from them. The paddles themselves are fine and I enjoy using it. However, their customer services and promotions are extremely unreliable and disappointing. Furthermore, they don’t provide contact phone number and contact them must be done by email. Their customer supports only selectively responded the emails. This was my first and worst online shopping experience in Canada.

Great service & shipping

I will only use Owl Paddles for the rest of my life. They make playing more enjoyable in so many ways! Yes they are much quieter, but my ability to control the ball and add spin when I want to has increased dramatically. I've also encouraged many people I know to buy them and I've watched their skills improve quickly with these paddles. It really does help you improve how you play. The online store was easy and delivery was fast.

Well, I was surprised my order for two paddles didn’t include the 3 balls and sunscreen as outlined in your online offer, which I purchased. There was no explanation why. When I inquired I received and email saying : “US customs has prevented us from shipping the balls and the sunscreen as it would have led to hefty tarrifs and duties. We sincerely apoligize “ Since you asked for my feedback I will address each - * online store - POOR - you didn’t ship what I ordered and paid for. Owl decided not to include the balls and sunscreen and with no explanation. When I inquired, this was their reply - “US customs has prevented us from shipping the balls and the sunscreen as it would have led to hefty tarrifs and duties. We sincerely apoligize. ” They simply shipped two paddles floating around in a cardboard box with only a packing slip. If you’re from the U. S. , * customer service - POOR - absolutely no response to my follow-up emails * delivery - the two paddles, but not the rest of my order, were delivered in a timely fashion. * please resolve this matter so I don’t have to do a chargeback on my credit card.

It took a month and a half to get the order. Always took multiple days to get an answer from customer service, and kept getting dismissed by everybody as if this is a typical experience. The paddle itself is decent, but I can’t see why I would ever order another if that’s the experience. I definitely do not recommend.
