The swatches are large enough to get a good idea for how the fabric behaves, test sewing machine settings, and do a burn test. Great deal for the money and I’ll always buy a swatch before buying fabric online

Very disappointed with this fabric. The website states that their silk faille is 100% silk, but what I received is extremely stiff and does not feel or behave like silk faille at all. I work with silk faille regularly and have purchased high-quality silk faille from Italy many times. This fabric is completely different in hand, drape and quality. It feels much more like a synthetic or heavily treated fabric than genuine silk faille. I find this very misleading. If the fabric is truly 100% silk, the quality is extremely poor. If it is not, then the product description is simply incorrect. This is not acceptable, especially for a fabric sold and priced as 100% silk.

Fabric was soft and draped beautifully. It also shipped quickly.

Test washed a swatch of yardage per online instructions and it failed. Asked for full refund and was told I had read the wrong thing. They would refund me as a huge favor, but minus the swatch we cut to test wash - 7". Again, told that I was the one who had misread wash instructions and they were being so generous to refund. Never using again.

I hope when I order my fabric I will get it as quickly. Great service and selcetion.

I’ve had great service & received very high quality fabric from NYDF. However, I haven’t yet received my most recent order for fabric samples & I’m getting concerned, as delivery is generally much quicker. I’m hoping it’s merely bc of the holiday weekend.

The swatches were well organized and labeled. They arrived quickly. They’re cut small and in a rectangular strip which makes it harder to feel out the drape. I think because the rectangular cut emphasize the bias drape somehow. It would be nice if the swatches were cut a bit bigger by being cut more square.
