Fabulous sleep every night!

Sometimes think it's too soft but I sleep much better 😉

I *want* to love this mattress we’ve had ours for a few weeks now after we decided our amazon memory foam mattress was causing us major discomfort while sleeping. It’s been weeks and I can’t say I’ve had “the best night of sleep ever” or even “the best sleep”. It took me a week or two to be able to even sleep on this mattress without excruciating pain the next morning. The pillow that came with the bed as a free accessory was too thick to be used, and was one of the major sources of stiffness. In order for me to to sleep even remotely comfortable and not wake up achey I have to use an almost flat pillow. I really thought when the mattress arrived, it was going to be “the one”, since it’s made from quality materials, and feels extremely luxurious. After we gave it a day or two to off gas and poof up, it also smelled completely normal. My fiancé and I are both mixed position sleepers mostly side and stomach but occasionally we back sleep. The inconsistent sleeping positions we thought was in part due to an uncomfortable mattress and once we got something better we’d have a more consistent position but even today we are both still tossing and turning in the night. However, another positive is that we can’t really feel that the other person is moving. The mattress does an good job of isolating the movement of your partner so you’re not jiggled around and disturbed. We know we have 100 days to “try” it, and that the mattress takes some time getting used to. But it feels like we made an expensive purchase to only moderately increase our sleep quality and that’s probably the hardest part to cope with. Neither of us are the type of person to call and complain so we likely won’t return it but I see a replacement sooner and this mattress ending up in our guest room.

I have had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time, all thanks to my new Bear elite mattress. I would purchase again in a heartbeat

Super comfortable!

Very comfortable but the edge support is a big problem. After 30 days it started to sag while sitting on it and the indentation never went away. Too expensive for that to happen! Otherwise we would have kept the mattress because it is very comfortable.

Wanted to love it and did for the first week. We slept great & it seemed like a great mattress. So much so we were willing to overlook the fact that it wasn’t ultra firm like we wanted and you can feel every movement from the other person, as well as the downhill slopes it created wherever you laid. But after about a month our backs and necks were hurting and we were experiencing frequent headaches and interrupted sleep. We ultimately returned it. Customer service was great to deal with, which is the reason for the 5 star review. No risk to try it for yourself.

Perfect mattress between plush and firm. Cooling technology is amazing

It's too soft and I can't sit on the edge without sliding off. I'm handicapped and can't support myself with my legs, the side is not firm enough. I'm 220lbs. It seems high quality and sleeps well but it's too soft on the edges.

It is a good mattress. It was formed than expected but once we got used to it, it’s great!

My first impression of this mattress was that it was too firm. I went to the Bear Mattress web-site to look for a mattress pad, and found out that I should wait at least a month before making any changes. That advice was spot on! The mattress has "broken in", becoming less firm over the past two months. Assuming it is stabilized, it is perfect right now. Highly recommend this mattress!

I was very skeptical about helping my back pain but after 3 months I'm a believer. It's by far the most I've ever spent on a mattress but it's been well worth it. As for the cooling part I don't really see a big difference there. Which is really ok with me.

We ordered a Bear 4 years ago and absolutely love it to this day. We just ordered another Bear for our child, but this mattress seems totally different from what we expected. It is uncomfortably firm for any of us. No one in the family finds the mattress comfortable, which is a drastic change of opinion from our prior Bear. I can visually tell that the cushioned top of this mattress is about half the thickness of the original we ordered 4 years ago. We were forced to shell out a few hundred more to purchase the mattress topper (which helped tremendously), but I was bummed that we had this unplanned expense just to make the mattress comfortable. Why the change?

I’m a hot sleeper, and I was initially looking for a new mattress to solve that one issue. The Elite Hybrid did that and more! I didn’t realize just how much my OLD mattress was aggravating my upper back/shoulder pain…until that pain started to decrease with each night on my new Bear mattress. I realize I may sound like an infomercial LOL. But in all seriousness, thank you for making an incredible mattress!

Generally pretty pleased, but the edge support is pretty low. Like if you sit or lay near the edge of the bed it compresses down quite a bit.
