I just wanted to reach out and share an experience I had with your product. I ordered the My Medic Large kit a few weeks ago for my growing family. Today, while at an outdoor gun range with five friends, we experienced a serious emergency. One of my friends had an accidental discharge, and the bullet went through his right thigh. Thanks to the supplies in My Medic kit, we were able to quickly respond and treat the wound until we could get him to a local ER. Having those tools readily available and easy to use under pressure made a critical difference in that moment. We truly believe this kit helped save his life. My experiences with My Medic have always been very positive. The shipping of an order is usually very fast. Depending on when you order a product, shipping could take place the same day you ordered or the next day. If you order on the weekend it will likely be on Monday before it goes out. Delivery is usually quick but since delivery is also determined by distance and weather some delays may occur. Any time I have asked questions about products they have always responded. I recently asked about the Construction Pro kit. I was emailed back with the information that the Construction Pro kit was no longer available. There were recommendations for alternatives which I thought was great. I would have to say though that I disagree with their recommendation for the Large IFAC as a suitable option. The Construction Pro was described as being able to treat up to 10 people. The "I" in IFAC, as I understand it, stands for "individual". It's a great kit to have in my pickup but maybe not the best option for the work truck, especially on construction sites. The Recon and The Scout were also mentioned and I wound up buying both. Whether by email or talking to a real person on the phone, the My Medic people have always been pleasant and helpful. They are pretty much my one and only recommendation when people ask me where to get a good first aid kit. They're not cheap but they're worth every penny. Quality isn't expensive, it's priceless. I was pleasantly surprised that these ration squares aren’t rock hard. I do not like hard cookies, etc. These rations are easily chewable and enjoyable to eat. I’ve been using them as substitutes for breakfast/lunch and they hold me over to dinner easily. Definitely worth having for meal substitutes, or their purpose as emergency calories. Will definitely buy more.
