I am a repeat customer of The Essentia Brand, the absolutely best brand of mattresses. They are extremely comfortable, non toxic and clean. The stellar service received from Paul will keep me coming back for years. He was very accommodating; changed my shipping date without a fuss. UPS returned the mattress because UPS had some confusion with the address and Paul save me any stress by contacting them to redeliver my mattress. The neck pillow material is rough and the snap broke.

This is my second Essentia mattress and this one is as fabulous as the first(that was for another house). Love that it’s free of toxins and the comfort is amazing! Not too hot, not too cold.

Purchase, shipping and customer service was wonderful until the Mattress arrived and then it all went downhill. Mattress arrived damaged on Jan 30, 2026, which was reported to Essentia within hours of delivery. As of today, march 1, 2026, they have not responded with a solution and there has been no communication from Essentia in over 3 weeks.

The delivery people were fast and helpful. 100% recommended

It's hard to review something I've never seen or used. It should arrive next Tuesday Jan. 20. They cancelled the Jan. 6 delivery for some reason that they did not elaborate on. Looking forward to trying it out. Steven

This is our second purchase of Essentia mattresses, which we love for sleep support. We were told that this mattress is most similar to replace our Beausommet that was damaged during a move. Yes, the mattress is comfortable, but the topper keeps shifting on my husband's side of the bed. We bought two twin XL's. I weigh 125 lbs and my topper never shifts. He weighs 185 lbs and each week when we change the sheets, we have to adjust the topper. Note we do have the Rize adjustable bed base. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but it is very frustrating. Essentia should get rid of these toppers and go back to one solid piece. Also, not that you do slide off the side when sitting on the bed to put on shoes. It is not a sturdy side. All in all, it is comfortable, though!

I didn’t realize the mattress had to be made before it shipped, so the wait seemed very long. Maybe that could be communicated a little better on the front end?

We know someone who has had an essentia mattress for 8 years and we had the opportunity to sleep on it for a week while visiting. It was 7 a nights of great sleep and we both woke up without a much reduced level of backache as was normal with our traditional (high quality) coil springs mattress. The essentia afforded stable, firm support and yet it was very comfortable as it seemed to curve around the body. So when we were ready to buy a new mattress, essentia was in the running but we also researched other like brands. In the end, experience won out and we bought the essentia in and it was delivered in Aug of 2024; we have enjoyed it very much. After 2 years, we now notice indentations; there are sags where are bodies lie to the point that if we move, there is sort of an incline toward the new position. We didn't notice that in our 'test" and so we wonder if the manufacturing changed or the materials . . . we still like it but it is rather disappointing that this is happening. We are both well within the weight limits for the bed, in case that is what you are wondering :). The night's sleep is better than the older coil spring mattress; there really is no comparison between foam and coil with foam being far better, at least to us. I toggled between 3 and 4 * but in the end, felt 3 was unfair. Also, we got a pair of sheets with the purchase of the mattress and liked them so well we bought another pair. They have not fared as well. We had to exchange one pair because they sort of 'shredded' in one section and now in both sets, the seam threads are fraying and so I'm not sure how long they will last. The other issue is the bottom sheet on one pair isn't quite long enough so that is always a tug of war. We wash according to the instructions, on delicate with a low heat dryer setting. They are very soft and comfortable and are not hot. Wish the other issues weren't happening. Hopefully this helps those of you looking at essentia. Maybe in the past 2 years the quality...
