I got the replacement after I noticed a leak issue with our machine. I contacted customer service and Julie recommended replacing the HEPA filter first. They arrived the next day and the problem was sorted. Really quick delivery and excellent customer service!

I bought both the MeacoDry Arete One 6L and 12L in January 2026 after moving into a rental property where damp only became obvious once winter arrived. We had bedroom window condensation, water around the seals, mould starting on the silicone and a small ceiling corner, and the bedroom often felt cold and slightly damp at night. After more than five months, I am 100% satisfied with both machines. The 6L is excellent as a bedroom unit: compact, quiet enough overnight, and very effective in a room with a persistent moisture load. The 12L is better for the living areas, where it reaches and maintains the target humidity more easily. The biggest practical result is that condensation stopped being a daily problem, the cleaned mould areas have not returned, and the bedroom no longer has that cold/damp feel when getting into bed. I also measured energy use during May using Tapo P110 monitoring plugs and a custom API. The 6L used about 52 kWh for the month, costing roughly EUR 14, while the 12L used about 29 kWh, roughly EUR 8. The smaller unit used more because the bedroom was the harder room, which is an important lesson: choose based on moisture load, not just room size. Build quality is excellent. The tanks remove and click back into place cleanly, the controls are simple and satisfying, filter access is easy, and both units feel like serious, well-designed appliances. I would buy both again.

We bought this recently and it has helped significantly in removing dust particles etc from our house. My son has allergies and this has worked almost immediately.

This is an excellent product, however the in built hygrometer can often show an RH of 45%, where my external (highly accurate) hygrometer shows a reading of 60%. When I switch off and on the Meaco, it often recalibrates it's own internal hygrometer to show the correct reading, but if I don't do this, it will sit idle for hours assuming the RH is low, when in fact it's high. setting the target RH lower can address this. It's the one complaint I'd have about an otherwise great product, it's a shame something so well built and functional, has such a small flaw, but it does make a big difference.
