Functionally this is a huge advance on the ABC which I had bought recently to try out the concept of a dehumidifier. The Arete app seems to work well and is really handy. The display on the machine itself is very poor, like a speedometer on a 1970s car trying but failing to look cool. A single digital display of the target and actual %s would be far easier to read. Also it can be hard to distinguish between the "lit" and the "dimmed" controls. Finally it would be a huge help if (a) the water meter could show a rough % full or at least a nearly-full warning and (b) the app could show running/idle history and humidity levels over days/weeks/months.

Product arrived two days after placing the order, the service is clear and helpful. Don’t waste time with cheaper alternatives - go straight to Arete.
