I was in for a recall and a new fender flashing. I was told the display that was crazed, cracked would be replaced for free. (Part of the recall) then was told they weren’t going to do that but it will be $320. I also inquired adding CarPlay and was quoted over $500 and it would not be wireless. The next day, again, I was told I couldn’t have that put in my 2017 Mazda CX-5 because of filmware. Long story short, $185 and 2. 15hrs later, needless to say - I installed the new display screen as well as CarPlay, did I mention it’s wireless.

The poor parts that I ordered were easy to find, seem to be genuine Mazda Parts (capital OEM) AND WE’RE SHIPPED TO ME PROMPTLY! I called after I received them with my vehicle VIN to confirm correct part/filter. Helpful and knowledgeable service rep on the phone.

The part arrived in a timely manner it was an exact fit and color matched. The only problem was that there was a long scratch on the cover it seemed to be packed ok must have happened while on the shelf or during packing the person packing the part should have caught it. Don’t want to mess with the hassle of sending it back so I will probably put some touch up paint on it. I took a picture of it right after I removed it from the box. So quality control is the only issue I have. Scratch was about 4”lg

The paint on the part they sent me did not match my Mazda’s paint. I visited the local dealer’s parts department and was told that since they had already sent the part, I would need to take it to a body shop and pay to have it repainted to match my vehicle. I found this response inaccurate, so I contacted the Mazda dealer that originally shipped the part to me via USPS (I ordered it online). The agent I spoke with found the situation unusual and offered to send a replacement part, hoping the paint would match this time. However, it has now been over a week, and I have not yet received the replacement.
