While the photo is a little misleading, I really love this little kids couch! It doesn't not stand up straight like in the photo, and the sitting width is pretty narrow for an adult. However, if you unfold the bottom cushion it becomes very comfortable for a floor cushion with a back. Perfect for reading or playing with your littles. It's also VERY comfortable for sleeping and well made. I like that the fabric zips off and can be washed if needed. Definitely worth it for the price and much higher quality than comparable items on Amazon.

We bought the twin-size Nicholas bed and absolutely love the design. The materials look good, but the bed is wider than a regular twin mattress, so if you plan to put it against a wall, a kid could easily fall into the gap and get stuck.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I have to because I had a really good experience with Max & Lily. I got the full bed with the trundle. The shipping wasn’t bad we waited probably about the most 2 weeks for the item. The whole bed was very easy to put together (even the trundle) and my daughter loved it. However, the next day while my daughter was lying on the trundle we heard it break. We checked and it was underneath the trundle where the wheels go. I emailed their customer support and they replied within the hour, they provided me with a solution to either replace the piece that broke off or to replace the whole trundle. I chose to replace the whole trundle and use the extra pieces for extra support. I personally would not get the trundle bed again but I will 100% purchase different furniture and recommend others to buy from Max & Lily.

My son loves his new bed. Assembly straight forward, and beautiful quality materials. Fast shipping too. My only issue is that the steps could be a little wider, but I assume that is to keep them streamlined for small spaces which I appreciate. Very happy, would recommend.
