Stairs came right away, about a week before the bed itself. Nothing was damaged. I only wish the number stickers on the pieces were easier to peel off without leaving residue, but they are critical to assembly, so I get it!

Sturdy, nice quality for a tween/early teen boy. Took about 2 1/2 - 3 hours to put together with myself and handy husband working together. The desk attachment had a corner that was half constructed, not squared and had to be rigged to put it together- will be reaching out for a replacement of the desk. Otherwise great product for what we were looking for. My 12 year old son is very happy.

This bunk bed is awesome for our 5 and 2 year old boys. I thought we were going to have to wait years to get them bunk beds and then I saw these low profile bunks and knew they would be the perfect size. I'm only 5 foot tall and my head comes up over the top railing. Their room is small and their beds were both in rough shape, but we didn't want to pay for "in between" beds and we wanted beds sturdy enough to last as they get bigger. As far as sturdiness goes, they supposedly hold 400 lbs each, but I'm not sure if that is accurate. We tell our 5 year old not to jump or stand on it because we can see it bowing with that kind of pressure. It seems fine when he uses it appropriately. Also, the side slats (safety rails) bow when he leans on them so I've asked him not to do that. I think the beds will hold an adult, but I would be cautious about letting kids play on the top bunk. Service and shipping were great, no issues. My husband put the bed together in a reasonable amount of time and I did the ladder. Overall we love these bunk beds. They look great, they are comfortable, and the boys are really enjoying their new big boy beds.

Bunk beds arrived quickly and a you tube video helped tremendously with the assembly. I was a little bit disappointed that the one slat on the top bunk had a very noticeable scratch/chunk that was stained over in hopes that it wouldn't be evident but unfortunately it is. Overall we love the beds they are very sturdy and we're sure they will be loved by our grandsons!
