Wonderful solution. Unusual space in a small apartment with very limited options for hanging a larger TV. A bit complicated because I needed to mount the wall attachment section before I had the TV in my new condo. Made a template of the back of the TV and was otherwise able to use directions provided.

The mantelmount is wonderful. It has a big range of motion to customize your best viewing setting and the motor is quiet and glides easily. Having the sound bar attached to the mantelmount saved quite a bit of space too. Very happy with it.

installation was easy, takes a minute but no problems, it has all the hardware for the different types of TV's. We love that it lower the TV to a comfortable viewing angle.

I have been searching around for a TV mount that moves forward/Backward and Up/down separately. I spent a lot of money and time to move my Tv around my house to find a perfect place with a perfect height for watching TV and no success until found this MM-Max1. Easy 45 minute installation with simple tools and a little bit help from Chatgpt to learn about my TV weight so I can adjust the piston. Very satisfied and not planning to move my TV to any other location.

I was ECSTATIC to spend the extra money for the MM815. Listen to me, if you're considering getting the mantel mount, I am sure any of them will be functionally amazing for your space. However, if you want a "show off" piece in your space above your fireplace, you HAVE to get the MM815 if you can. The fact that we move our TV up and down with the push of a button is not only convenient, its a show stopper during football season. Everyone that comes over loves it and we love it. What an amazing invention to benefit homes with old school tall fireplaces. Our TV was above our fireplace on a regular mount and we just always felt like we were looking up to see it all the time. The MantelMount helped make watching football, family memories and movie night so much easier to do from anywhere in the room. Now folks who sit close to the TV are able to watch it without twisting their necks. We absolutely love it. MantelMount Installer(optional): Who installed MantelMount? (yourself, friends/family, professional installer,etc. ) I installed my MantelMount myself. I am not a professional installer by any stretch but I have mounted several TVs over the years. I was nervous about it because I'd never done anything like this but as long as you follow the instructions and I repeat FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS (I normally don't read instructions), you will be fine. I think, as soon as I knew the wall mount itself was secure to the wall with the bolts in the studs, I felt confident to figure out the rest. MantelMount Location(optional): Where did you install your MantelMount (what room, where in room, above mantel, etc,) I installed it in our living room about 7 inches above the mantel over the fireplace. The original location of it was about 5 inches above the mantle. I followed the instructions to be able to raise the new "home position" location to be 2 inches higher than its original position. I did that because as we go into the holiday season, I know we're going to put figurines ...

The full installation on the 540 model took us about 3 hours in total, The instruction book should be read at least 2x before starting the project. There were a couple of places which could be a bit confusing but, overall, the instruction book was very good. Make sure you find studs cause the unit is heavy. Two people are a must especially over the mantel.

This mount is sturdy and works very well. Be sure to test fit your tv and sound bar (if installing) before mounting. The sound bar was tricky and required me to make changes to mount location on back of TV to get the sound bar close to bottom of TV. Recommend you get additional washers (rubber faucet from plumbing section of Home Depot ere helpful) when fitting. Also, be sure of tv position when watching to ensure correct height! It’s worth the effort on the end! Customer service was helpful so don’t hesitate to call!

Second purchase and the MM540 is tops for mounting! Highly recommended.

This TV mount is perfect for above the fireplace. The pull-down feature makes it great for bringing the TV down to your desired height. We love it!

Great Idea Poor Execution. I was able to finagle and get it installed. There is bad error in the instructions manual. You need 14mm Socket to assemble NOT 13mm. Poor design on a key component assembly - Rail to the flexing arm is held together with 4 bolts - KEY step of the installation and it is NOT EMPHASIZED. It is very easy to cross thread and have issue. If Mantelmount cares they can call me as I purchased it via Mantelmount.

Does exactly what we hoped it would; effortless lowering and raising. Drops over 2’ right into our line of sight. Great product! Our son has an eye condition called nystagmus and this mount allows us to move the TV to just the right position to help him enjoy what’s on.

Easy to install, just take your time. Worked as advertised. Low profile. Awesome mount, totally works for our situation
